  1. Eric, A warm welcome to the GLF site. Thanks for the report. You were able to get out and the Lake Trout was a bonus. It will only get better. Just holler if you need any help. This site has some good information, and great people who share their methods freely. I'm looking forward to more of your reports.
  2. Tony, A warm welcome to you. I fish mostly out AuGres. It's good to have another Bay fisherman here. Holler if you need any help. I'm looking forward to your reports. I used to fish around Qsee a lot.
  3. Tim, I'm glad you got into some fish with your son. I'm also glad your son is feeling better. Those kids bounce back quickly. Gotta Luv Dat Bay.
  4. I think (Mike G) the Fishmonster is too modest to post a report, but he'll get over that. We fished hard out of AuGres Friday 4-23 but managed to take 10 nice eyes. Like most of the Spring fish we didn't have to measure any of them. Mike has a 28 ft Trophy and he spent a little time fine tuning his presentation. After a bit he was pulling 12 lines through a pack of boats like he did it for years. Mike never tangled a line. I thank Mike G for the invite to fish Friday. The action will only get better. Right now the inner bay is the place to play. For the larger boats AuGres will shine brighter in a week or two. Fish can be taken shallow and deep. We fished in 19-24 FOW pulling bouncers and meat @ 1.0 to 1.6 MPH Sorry no pics. Thanks again Mike. It was also nice to fish with Paperboy and Joe A. New and old friends fishing on the Bay. How blessed can you be??
  5. GJ Tony, Getting the bugs out this trip will pay big dividends next time.
  6. GJ Jim and Don. Nothing like catching them feisty Spring Kings. Just a side note: It was nice to meet both of you at the GLF seminar awhile back. Putting names with faces helps me visualize what is being posted in the reports.
  7. She looks good on the water.
  8. Scott, We have all had one of those days. You did boat a ho so what the heck. I feel for your son. The bright side, no one got seriously hurt, and you'll be after them Salmon in no time.
  9. Senez, A very warm welcome to you. Old Cool is just that. GJ on the restore. Holler if you need any help. You will fee right at home here. Now on the name pronunciation: I'm going with Sains. What the heck I'll take my shot at a beer. Or maybe a shot and a beer.
  10. Tony, Another warm welcome to you. Just holler if you need any help. It's great that you took the time to introduce yourself. You'll feel at home here and so will you dad, if you can geek him up and drag him on in here.

  14. Dennis, A warm welcome to the GLF site. It's good to have another Huron fisherman. I fish mostly out of AuGres on the Saginaw Bay. Don't hesitate to ask a question. The information flows freely. Mike (GLF) runs a friendly site. New members are always welcome. Thanks for introducing yourself.
