  1. Sometimes you can go to Radio Shack and they will have that kind of stuff.
  2. The splitter would be an improvement over the 12 inch one you have now, but its personal preference, I like it because it didn't take up any more space, had no effect on my VHF. If you already have the ratchet base ready maybe thats the way to go for you. Tom
  3. I read this on another site, make sure that your shielding or ground wire is not touching you single coax. If any of the shielding wire is touching the single strand coax you will have problems. Tom
  4. Man I always forget about e bay.
  5. Just saw one in Overton's man that thing went up in price. Item number 91367 price is $64.99 plus tax and shipping. Look around maybe you can find one locally. Tom
  6. I used a splitter and it worked out great. It should come with a piece of coax for your radio, and when you key up the mike it automatically switches off the am-fm. I liked it a lot. Tom
  7. Glad to see some walleyes. Nice job. Tom
  8. Lived in Muncie for 15 years before I had a chance to move back to Michigan. It's quite a distance to get to any big water fishing that's for sure. When I lived there I fished Port Clinton and then in June I would leave my boat in Bay City so I could fish the bay. Good luck on rigging the boat. Tom
  9. I sold it a guy from up north, no one we know. Hate to see it go, but had to do it. Now I have to change my avatar. Tom
  10. The boat is Sold!!!!!! Thanks for all the help and support. Sold it on CL this morning. Tom
  11. I take mine apart every couple of years just to check the bearings, brakes and seals. It also depends on how much traveling you do with the trailer. It doesn't hurt to replace and repack the bearings by hand . That's me though, so far so good with bearing failure. Tom
  12. Here is mine:
  13. Walleye boards and you will be able to tell when there is a fish on them. Watch how they run, the nose will ride slightly higher in the water, when you get a fish it will pull the board back. Once you watch them you will be able to tell if you have something, whether it be a fish or weeds. Good luck, I use both, big boards on the Trophy and inlines on my smaller boat. Both have their place. Tom
  14. Wouldn't that depend on if you have a four stroke or a two stroke kicker and if you main motor is an outboard and oil injected and your kicker is a two stroke you would still have to mix the oil for the kicker. It's a great way to go if you have all four strokes though. Tom
  15. Sent today thanks for the reminder. Tom
  16. I was on the fence a couple of years ago, I bought a boat and had to put a finder on it. Looked at a lot of different units, I wanted a combo finally pulled the trigger on a Humminbird 917c. I've never looked back, that thing locks on satelites before I leave the dock. There are more features in that unit than I need and someday I'll figure it all out. Tom
  17. Think spring boys. I still have the Trophy for sale and it has to go this year. I just got the news that I'm being laid off this week and we could use the extra cash. I'm not desperate but willing to deal. This is a good price on a very clean boat with low hours. Thanks for looking. Tom
  18. Nice job Adam.
  19. Nice bag of fillets there. Noah and me had a great time and I think Noah is hooked on fishing small lakes, you can't beat having a line in the water 15 minutes after leaving the truck. The venison chilli was just the thing to warm up too, great stuff Jason. We're going to do it again thats for sure. Thanks for letting us tag along. Tom
  20. Thanks Frank, same to you and your family. Hope we can get together again this year.

    Tom

  21. Nice buck.
  22. I'd be willing to try to get to it, but like Jason busy kids schedule will dictate what I can do. Tom
  23. Nice ride, have one myself without the hard top.
  24. Nice job Jason. I was watching the wind over here on Saturday and figured you would probably have a rough ride. Tom
  25. Sorry Steve thats the best I can think of, maybe get hold of Humminbird and find out what they are doing different, there must be a work order number to try and track it down. I've had bird's for the last 10 years and they've never let me down. Good luck. Tom
