  1. Thats a bad deal Frank, its too bad you can't even mention something or get your net in the water and before you know it even one and their brother is fishing right next to you. Jason had it happen to him last summer, fishing all by himself and a baot almost runs him over and sits down right next to him and starts fishing. You work hard to find your little hot spots and then every boat on the bay wants to take advantage of you. I don't blame you one bit. Tom
  2. Good Job Frank, was up there Sunday morning and tried out at the humps with nothing to show for it. Marked a lot of fish just no takers, going to try again this weekend. Tom

  7. Thanks for the invite Frank and Paul, you guys are a hoot to fish with, I'll say this there is never a dull moment on the P1. I learned a lot today that I will use next time out. We'll do it again but only if Paul does the driving, he kept us on the fish today. Tom

  9. Good Job Frank, man it seems like I'm saying that alot lately.
  10. Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Fish Monday morning and it was a little rough in the morning, then it laid down and got nice around 10. Ended up with one 10 pound sheephead. The fish were there just couldn't get them to go. Fished 9-10 fow thats all I could get to with the north wind and 2 ft waves (I was in my little boat). Talked to creel survey guy at the launch and he said that one boat was in at 9:30 with a three man limit but said they were out in 17-24 fow on the southern end of the slot. Final Episode Tom
  12. Good Job Frank hoping to see you Friday, I'll give you a call tomorrow. Tom
  13. Nice Smallie, and at least you got out. Thanks for the report. Gonna try to make it up there with Frank on Friday. Tom

  15. Good job Frank and keep on them. Are you fishing next week? Let me know when you have a open seat. Tom
  16. How much coax wire do you have? You just need enough to get to your radio, there is a thing as having too much. You want to keep it as short as possible. Make sure the ground on the coax is soldered to the outside of the connector and you have enough of the middle sticking out to make contact.
  17. Try the willis knot, I have a hard time but a lot of people swear by it.
  18. I went out today and got run off by the bugs. I started in the sailboat bouys and then headed east of the channel and all I got was one big cat. It was dead calm out there today. There is a lot of stuff floating on the surface, almost like we need some wind to push that stuff out.
  19. Good job Frank give me a heads up a couple of days in advance and we'll schedule a trip. Tom
  20. The concensus is the big bug hatch out there when its calm. I can't believe the bugs when there is no wind to blow them away. Going to try again this weekend. Jason call me when you get free. Final Episode Tom
  21. Fish yesterday off Au Gres and ended up with 5. Put up with the fog and bugs. The fog burned off about 11:30 am but the bugs never went away. Nothing special 30-35 fow wonderbread, reverse muffin and blue and pink with a rainbow blade on 2 oz bbs 60-70 feet back. We were in front of the river mouth to Pt Au Gres. Tom
  22. Give me some notice if you're a rider short during the week. Do you still have my number? Let me know. Tom
  23. Good job Frank, going to be up your way Sunday I'll give you a shout. Tom
  24. Good report I'd like to get up there sometime. I haven't fished there since I was a kid with my dad. Tom
