  1. Tried AuGres this morning, all I will say is cold, windy, and no fish. We tried towards Pt Lookout and got nothing. WE did mark a few fish in 15 fow but no takers oh yeah the water temp was 40*-41*. We fished till we got blown off and it was rolling by 10 am. Oh well it will get better. Tom
  2. Lowered price $19,000.00
  3. Reposted the sale didn't go through. Tom
  4. Sale is pending. Tom
  5. Still for sale $20,000.00 or best reasonable offer. This is sale only no trading. Thanks Tom
  6. Nice job on the fish guys. You know how that goes story of my life. Going to try to get out Saturday, was shooting for Thursday but plans changed. I'm keeping an eye on posts so I can try to figure this thing out. Tom
  7. Tried the night bite off Linwood tonight, well nothing to show for it. Moved several times, tried 20 -23 fow and never marked a fish tonight. Going to try it again Thursday weather permitting. Had good ice the ice road looked iffy in some spots so I satyed off to the side. Water was clear I could see my jig and minnow 15 ft down. The wind did pick up and a lot of people were coming in early. Tom
  8. Thats fishing Adam, I'm thinking about next week sometime off Linwood, but with this weather it might make it a little tougher to get out on the quad. Just have to wait and see. Tom
  9. Thanks for the head up Frank. I'm just a little to leary about the ice. I might try it next week sometime. I'll post if I go. I saw on one site some where that one guy was fishing the AuGres River and said he was on them just couldn't close the deal. Oh well off to work. Tom
  10. Fished the silos again today with one bite. The fish were there and they would follow my jigging rap but not take it. I tried 23 fow with no current and visibility around 5 ft. The ice was 9". Thought I might get into this morning before the storm but no luck. Thats fishing. Tom
  11. Yeah its starting to look like Monday morning now. I've read a few stories about problems with working cracks and snow blowing in and people going through in 18 fow. Tom
  12. Good job Adam, I'm going to try tomorrow off State Park in the afternoon if I can get a few honey do's done in the morning. If not I'm going Monday morning before work. Tom
  13. I thinking of maybe trying to get out tomorrow afternoon and see what all the hubbub is about off State Park. Tom
  14. I didn't measure, but I was surprised by how much was there. I'd guess 6"-10". Tom
  15. Fished the silos in Zillwaukee this morning with no luck. Three bites no fish landed. I was in 26 fow with a little current and clarity wasn't bad either. Not many people fishing, but the ones that were out did a lot of moving which is not good sign. Tom
  16. I will make a donation to the site if it is sold from here. Please mention Great Lakes Fisherman when contacting me. Thanks Tom
  17. Ecomics always plays a part of my purchases. That is always an over riding factor for me too. Tom
  18. I know Frank that you are looking for two stand alone units, but I have a Humminbird 917c with the Hot Maps chip. So far so good I've not had any problems with it but it is a combo unit. On the GPS unit I would recommend an external antenna, if you have room. Good luck and buying electronics can be mind boggling for sure. Tom
  19. Yeah have you looked at the satelite lately? This keeps up I'll have to get the batteries charged on the small boat. Tom
  20. Fished yesterday at Zilwaukee bridge with little success. My nephew caught seven small ones no keepers. We had good ice and the fish were biting lite. Small blue and chrome Do Jiggers and about six inches of ice. Tom
  21. Here is mine shot him five years ago in Central Indiana. He is an eleven point with a 24" inside spread, was aged at 5 1/2 year old, his weight was 200 and scored 147 2/8. I shot him on the last day of the season just before dark. I never knew how big he was until my buddy and me walked up on him. We were surprised to say the least. He is right over my harness tying table.
  22. You can't beat a boat that catches fish and gets you back and forth. Tom
  23. You are right Frank, we need to get out together and wet a line. I don't know where time goes. This summer was terrible for me I just couldn't get things together for fishing the way I would have liked to. With the good Lord willing we'll make it happen this summer. Tom
  24. Thanks Frank it is a beautiful fishing boat.
