  9. Fish were snapping today, we had 16 in the box at 7:10 AM, then it slowed down and we pulled lines at 10:30 AM with 19. We lost a few down the stretch trying to get one more for a limit. Everything got hit. Half cores, full cores and 225 coppers with spoons. riggers from 40 to 60 down most of the day but we dropped 2 down to 80 and 100 ft and got bit as couple times later in the day. Best spoons were moonshine blue lemon, do de k, green jeans, dancing anchovy, carbon 14, yeck lemon ice, pro king fireball. We had 8 in spin doctors on the divers and 1-1/2lb out 125 to 140 ft. Chrome blade mt dew/blue fairways fly and chrome blade blue bubble/blue bubble fly were best.We fished north, 120 to 150 ft most of the day. Nice to get back to fishing blue water, couldn't get out in June. We will be fishing every weekend and 3 weeks vacation now till late September so if your in Ludington, give us a shout. Some nice kings, the box was heavy

  16. Getting all this experience will help them win more races in the future. Looks like a lot of fun.
  17. If a lure is working somewhere in the spread, run multiples of the same lure. Change the divers to something that is already working. When my divers aren't hitting, I work them and change them up every 20-30 minutes. Another thing I'll do is to keep letting them out farther too. Don't get stuck on a pre-planned spread. That is Ok to start the day but don't stick with it if you are marking fish and not hitting fish. I don't like to tow lures that aren't catching fish more than 1 hr tops. If it don't go, it's getting changed.
