mriversinco
Well, after what seems like ages with the new boat I finally got it out last night and was able to fish for a few hours. Had kicker problems at the start, it wouldn't go into drive. Adjusted the cables and viola, it worked but I got grease on my hands and forgot to bring a towel or anything to wash with. So, had to rely on fishing partners to set things up and it drove me NUTS not being able to do stuff.Ended up with 5 fish and lost a few. I know we had at least 2 on that we lost but had many releases and were trying to dial in the releases and such. 4 Nice kings and a little coho. Here's what worked:1 nice king on 300ft. of 45lb copper with 8" mountain dew SD with proctologist fly.2 kings on dipsey with SS green skirt UV spoon at 125 to 1801 king on White paddle with homosezwhat fly on rigger at 901 coho on flintstones candy corn spoon on 5 colorNot a bad first time out with the new boat. Just Hook'n
Very nicely done Mike, Were those dipseys on the new rods?
mriversinco
Actually both fish were off my other dipsey rods with braid. I ran one of the new rods with wire down deep and had two on but lost them both. Gotta get my fishing partners used to fighting a fish with wire......
