  1. 5 for 5, 3 kings, 1 laker and a steelie. Fished 1-2 miles north, all fish came in 120-150 2 kings on rigger down 69 with blue flounder pounder 1 king on high diver back 120 with blue veggies Laker on wire diver back 140, meat rig Steelie on 7 color orange and black moonshine spoon Biggest king 28 lbs Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman
  2. 4 for 7. 2 kings, 2 coho 275-300. Kings on rigger down 120 meat, 300 copper white paddle/pickled sunshine fly. Both coho on 100 copper small dodger/peanut fly. Lost 3 fish on 7 color, 2 color, and 150 copper, orange spoons. Pretty much straight out, maybe a little north Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman
  3. Started in tight in the mud with about 50 other boats, fished it for 1.5 hours, plenty of bait, water temp was 51 degrees, 0 rips didn’t see any other boat fighting a fish or any nets drop. Pulled lines, ran out to 130, put it on a west troll. Finally hit a nice king in 200 ft of water 200 ft back on a mag dipsey set at 1 with a white paddle/pickled sunshine fly. Caught a coho on a 2 color, Craig’s flounder, lost a king on a rigger down 90 with a blue flounder pounder, lost a coho on same 2 color, lost another king on a rigger down 120, Rv blue flounder pounder.   4. Fished from 4-6pm, went 7 for 9. 3 kings, 4 lakers. 60-70 ft of water, a few miles north of the pier heads. Fish were 15-35 ft down, all spoons. One king was 23 lbs!
  5. Looking at purchasing a cottage in Cadillac, anybody have any pointers on the best lake for fishing.
  6. Crazy, but I feel like this fish isn’t even picture worthy this year!
  7. Went 4 for 4, 2 kings (16 and 12lbs) and 2 steelhead. Fished 230-250 ft of water. 2 fish on full core with UV blue dolphin, one king on rigger down 40 with pole dancer meat rig, one steelie on 100 copper with orange and black moonshine spoon.

  9. Anybody know a good taxidermist for salmon. The guy I normally use doesn’t do it anymore.
  10. Had a date night with the wife, went 2 for 5, one laker one 26lb king. King was caught in 135 ft of water on a wire diver set on 2 back 140 with pole dancer meat rig. Lost another monster on 225 copper with green bikini bottom meat rig.
  11. Pretty slow this am, started just north in 70, trolled out to 120 and back to 70 without a rip. Put it on a west troll and hit a small king in 165, then a 10lb king in 185 and lost another in 190ish. We took one fish on a 7 color with hot lips moonshine spoon, another on white paddle with green mirage spinny on 300 copper and lost one on a froggy meat rig set back 125 on a braid diver. Didn’t mark many fish or bait.
  12. 6 kings, one laker, biggest king was 18 lbs, average was probably 12
  13. Took out my 8 year old daughter, my buddy and his two boys. Went 7 for 9. Started in 200 and worked 185-200 all night. Speed 2.7-3.0 at the ball. 2 fish on frog spinny and meat rig on braid dipsey set at 1.5 back 125, one on wire diver 175 back with white paddle and pickled sunshine fly, one on downrigger down 120 with blue flounder pounder, 2 on 100 copper with jordo spoon, 2 on full core with blue dolphin UV spoon, one on rigger down 69 with green flounder pounder. Great night, kids had a blast!
  14. Went 4 for 10ish, 3 kings one laker, biggest king 21 lbs. lost a lot of decent fish. Fished 1-5 miles north of the pier heads in 80-100. Frog spinny with pickled sunshine fly took a few hits, meat rig a couple hits, UV blue dolphin took one, blue flounder pounder took two hits. Most fish came deeper(40-70 down).
