  1. Had lines set about 7:30, fished to noon and ended up 5/5 with a king, steelhead and 3 lake trout! The king came just after sunrise in 95 FOW on a rigger down 70 with a Moonshine flounder pounder. The steelhead came in 150 FOW on a 5 color with a orange/gold spoon. The lake trout all came on a rigger with a silver w/green spots spin doctor and a yellow spin n glo between 140 and 155 fow down 140 ft. Generally was trolling NW/SE based on the wind/waves. It was nice to have a full box in October! Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  5. 3 lake trout this morning on a silver/grn spots. Spin doctor and a yellow/orange spots spin-n-glo on a downrigger. Fish caught in 125 to 135 FOW down 120 to 130 based on fish hawk. Lots of marks and bait in the 120 to 150 FOW. Trolled south of the pier! Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  8. Headed out again this morning. Lines set in 100 FOW heading to south. Lots of makes and baitfish again, especially in the 120 to 150 FOW depths. Turned back north and covered the same area with plenty of marks but no takers. Finally got a shaker lake trout on a grn/white spoon while checking lines then landed a 4lb lake trout on Silver w/grn dots spin doctor and a yellow spin n glow down at the bottom in 135 FOW. Surface temp 68 and it was 42 dog down 120 ft. At least fresh fish for dinner! I think the salmon are allergic to me! Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  9. Trolled between 120 and 160 FOW with plenty of marks and bait fish on the graph. No takers. Tried spoons, flies, paddles, spin doctors, whirly gigs to no avail. The water was 42-44 degrees at 100 ft down. Hope to try again in the morning! Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  10. Fished solo from 7:00 to 11:00 and went 1 for 2. Lost a decent fish while setting the third line as I had to get the net out! (White paddle/white&blue fly, rigger down 120 in 125 FOW heading west) Hooked a 7 lb coho on a white paddle trolling east in 130FOW on a white paddle/white & blue fly on a rigger down 100 in 135 FOW trolling east) Radio chatter indicted mixed results but the action was generally in 90 to 130 FOW. It was a cool morning as rain showers came through for a while! East wind created 1 ft waves. Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  14. Got set-up about 7:30 and headed NW starting in 110 fow. Got to 145 turned back to the SE and had a 17# King hit the 300 copper with a blue/green spoon with a red eye on it. Trolled awhile around this area and finally headed toward the pier and hit a nice fat coho on the same 300 copper in about 90 fow. I missed the hot bite at sunrise in shallow 80-100 fow) based on the radio chatter. fun morning!
