  1. A fire drill with a positive ending. You wouldn't think a King that size would have a problem releasing. Gotta Luv it.
  2. A warm welcome aboard Tony.

  3. Tony, A warm welcome to the GLF site. Let us know if you need any help.
  4. Bob, GJ and thanks for the report. It will surely get better as the Summer progresses.
  5. Robert, A warm welcome to the GLF site. Let us know if you need any help. I fish out out of AuGres almost exclusively. I seldom fish weekends but sometimes the weather forces me to do so. You would be welcome aboard my boat.
  6. GJ Scott, The inner bay is on fire.
  7. Pull your boat over to Lake Erie or the Saginaw Bay. June is one of the best months for walleye fishing. Why fight Mother Nature?? Go with the flow. Head back to Lake MI about the middle of July. Trade a Trip works well also.
  8. A warm welcome to you Brian.
  9. Gary, GJ on the pond. I wish my wife would go even if it was late in the day.
  10. I launch several times a year @ a DNR launch. I get the sticker the first time someone is in the booth. I will surely opt for the $10 deal on the license. Even at the $24 fee my price per launch is way under a buck.
  11. Even 2008 and 2009 when it was cooler the game off AuGres was usually deep. Of course there were some exceptions. AuGres plays just slightly different. The air and water temps are definitely hotter this year. If this trend continues the inner bay will slow and the waters N. of AuGres will shine. Tawas and Oscoda are good bets when that happens. Gotta Luv what we have going here on the bay. I know the Bomber does.
  12. Paperboy, Larry D, Tom D, and myself pulled 18 eyes out of the Bay just off AuGres. Those guys got their limits so I guess I was slacking. We ran bouncers and harnesses @ 1.5 mph. Glows were working well. We fished from 32-37 FOW. I didn't have my camera and Paperboy is supposed to email a pic. AuGres is NOT as hot as the S. part of the Bay. The fishing and the weather is a tad different this year. Get out there and gitter done.
  13. Nel, A warm welcome to the GLF site. I'm glad the Skeeter is ready to rock. It was good talking with you the other night. Give me a call when you hit AuGres.
  14. GJ Jimbo, and a warm welcome to the GLF site.
  15. Tony, GJ with the boys on the Sag Bay. Gotta Luv it.
  16. Ron, GJ on the Bay Eyes.
  17. Take some time to remember what this day is all about.
  18. Tom, Good Job on the Erie Eyes.
  19. Capt. Ron, Thanks for the report. It will pick up in another month.
