  1. After our success on Monday we couldn't pass up not going back out Tuesday......well we should have stayed home fished same time frame 6:30-10:30 with only 1-drum to show for it and we had figured that was going to be our last night trolling for a while with the big winds forecasted. Well after checking the wind forecast multiple times after work we decided to give it one last try Wednesday and it ended up paying off we ended up 3-4 with 1-brown and 2-kings biggest about 13lbs same times 6:30-10:30 with all glow spoons doing the damage long lines where hot to our surprise. The wall was our savior with the wind honking out of the WNW about 25mph it was glass calm along the wall all in all a great night. We were shocked to see the drastic change in surface water temps sun-73 mon-69 tues-67 wed-51.Looks like things are going to be shut down for a few days might take a trip to Racine or Milwaukee Sunday and try jigging and casting for some monster kings I hear the action is HOT!! Here is a pic of our biggest king last night enjoy!
  2. Set lines at 6:30pm south of hole in wall and worked out to the 4 marker back and forth a few times ended up 3-4 1-15.5lb king 1-2lb brown and 1-6lb king missed a really nice fish on rigger about 8:15pm the last fish came at 10pm pulled lines at 10:30 all glow spoons dipsey rigger and lead took fish and only caught 1-drum . I Plan on fishing out on friends boat tomorrow evening out of Portage hope to do the same or better!
  3. Well we had a game plan for today and we stuck to it except it didn't go as planned we stayed in close from 7-8 am without a sniff. Then we decided to take the run offshore as planned we ended up setting lines in 95 FOW at 49-6 we worked north to 125 FOW then east to the 3's then back west then south troll back towards the ditch ended up 3-4 with 1-laker,1-king,1-steely. We still had a good time even with the SLOW fishing great fun tournament as usual! Nothing picture worthy today unfortunately
  4. Thanks for the report and glad to hear no damage done when tire blew.
  5. Always tough to swallow we had a 20+ run into 1 of our riggers while pre fishing for the Holland tournament it was gone in the blink of an eye!
  6. 75-130fow best water 80-100fow most fish came between 50-70 down
  7. Sounds about the same as St. Joe hot and heavy first thing then things just died.
  8. We decided to head to St. Joe today we got lines set around 6:30 and had a double while setting the 4th rod out of 9. Ended up being a 12lb king on wire diver meat rig blue and a nice coho on rigger moonshine spoon happy meal. We finally got all rods set and had a bunch of short bites on wire divers finally hooked into a 15lb king on a 300 copper with green flounder pounder. We lost and missed a few more before getting a small steely down 55 on rigger hey baby spoon. We also picked up 2 very small lakers(released). All in all a great day on the water our final tally was 4 for about 15 (not including released lakers). Here is a pic of the biggest king of the day enjoy!
