  1. Go take a look at the wier in tc its full. But dont be fooled there are still fish in the hole. I have a buddy who fishes everyday in the hole monday he was 6-15
  2. They cant do anything with them. The nets have so much weight to them that a regular tribal boat cant pull them. They had a barge come down to ludington and whitehall earlier this summer but as mentioned the nets that were left in last winter have broken apart. They could be floating on surface or could be on the bottom nobody really knows.
  3. The ice this winter broke apart nets that have been left out in whitehall. No one knows where they are and could be moving day to day.
  4. Thanks! If it wasnt for lake trout we would been in trouble on day two Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  5. Sorry for the late report but we fished the big red classic this past weekend. Pre fishing was awesome big fish where were we wanted em to be seemed like we couldnt do anything wrong had a couple 20 pounders and multiple 15s. Then we go to actual tournament day and struggled a little bit saturday we were 7-13 and just about everything came on a purple meat rig. Fish were smaller than what we hoped but but had a decent box fished the 90-120 range. Sunday did the same exact thing and got into even smaller fish right away in the morning. So decided to bounce bottom for lake trout and ended up pullin out 2 pig lakers one at 14 and the other was 18. Finished the tournament in 11th so overall not to bad. 6. Wind is supposed pick up tonight and tommrow. And normally it wouldnt be too bad of a day but going for averaging over 10 fish a trip to 4 is kind of a bummer lol Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  7. Moonshine rv spoons did thr damage for us we were only 4-8 but the moonshine spoons took half the hits Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  8. Thats wierd we fished whitehall sunday morning and we were in 70 fow and 25 down we had 40 degrees Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  9. Went out of whitehall yesterday morning started in 100 foot didnt like what we saw so quickly pulled and went out to 200 and trolled west till we got out to 400. Got out 3 man limit on steelhead 1 laker and 2 kings. Some big steelhead out there to ended the day 12-17. 3 color leadcore did most of the damage but 100 copper 150 copper 200 copper and rigger down 74 all took at least one fish. Pretty much anything orange again seemed to take fish. Took most of our fish between 300-375 but i have a feeling that is going to change real quick. 10. From the radio it seemed like most people wernt doing very good. Alot of small fish out there right now. We had 40 degrees down 25 feet and 7 of our fish came down deep so there hasnt really been a pattern. Just hope to stumble across a few every now and again. Last june fishing out of whitehall was horrible so im hopeing it doesnt end up like last year. But we'll see! Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  11. Fished whitehall saturday morning set lines in 90 foot and worked our way all the way out to 240. Though it was going to be a slow day at first set lines at 6:30 and didnt get a fish till around 7:30. Ended up 12 for 15. Let 3 little ones go. Saw steelhead surfacing everywhere but couldnt get any of them to go. Found a nice surface temp break that went from 57 to 38. 3 color lead with orange crush took 3 fish 200 copper took a fish. Wire diver with mag dipsey back 230 took 2 fish. Had a green pro troll with sour apple fly. Down rigger down 107 with silver streak pink panties took 2 fish also slider on that rod took a shaker. 300 copper took 3 fish cant remember what was on that though. Caught most of our fish between 9-11 Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  12. Fished this morning started in 70 foot and worked out to 120 and stayed in that water all morning. Went 15 for 21 lines pulled at 11. 6 kings 7 steelhead and 2 lakers. Ran around 2.4-2.6 at the ball. Riggers down 25 and 21 took 8 fish. 225 150 200 100 coppers all took at least one fish and 3 color lead took a couple. Again it was anything with orange was the ticket today. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  13. Its not all the indians its more of just the LRB tribe thats a pain to work with. Like the email said there is no one fishing from the LRB tribe. And to my understanding now the nets are so heavy that one the the boats the the tribes use couldnt even pull the net if they tried. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  14. Correction from my post last night. Yesterday the did pull part of a net and today they pulled another part. after sitting for so long the nets have broken apart no one knows where the rest of them are. Still be on the lookout guys they could be floating somewhere or could be collapsed on the bottom. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  15. Jim is also who i got my information from as he is my grandfather. I will be talking to him tommrow. As soon as i get more information on the nets i will post it on here. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
