  1. 2 things are certain. #1. Sailboats always are a nuisance. #2. 2 jet skis at the launch, were definitely VIP status, GET OUT OF THE WAY.....I'M A PRETTY BIG DEAL And, it will take them longer to land & load 2 jet skis than that of a regular boat ...... Synic....? Maybe a touch....
  2. Nice job on the fish! Thanks for the report. Just when I thought I was set on lures, looks like I'll need to add a couple more flies.....
  3. Great minds think alike, I was thinking some sort of "topic", maybe useful. I'll surely pop in to chat with the crew, however, with 3 kids at home I'm stretched pretty thin, but will give it the old college try!
  4. We left last Wednesday and ignored the forecast, as it was NOT GOOD. However, we were able to fish every day after last Wednesday, only one day (Friday) where we went out, caught some fish and the waves built past a point of being comfortable.
  5. Sounds like a primadonna who had no biz being in a fish cleaning station. I actually have clothes that are dedicated to fishing, cuz I know they're going to take a beating, get hooks, blood and whatever else all over them. LOL.....
  6. It's hard to ignore the morons sometimes. We tend to be in and out in 2 shakes of a lambs tail, so usually there is no issue. I wouldn't be biting my tongue if someone else thought it was in their best interest to be disrespectful. Lead, follow, or get out of the way! The people that are the worst, are the ones that back down, get the boat off the trailer and then load up and gear up, THIS REALLY MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL, I'll give those guys the business every time! Move it or lose it
  7. I ordered it online, it shipped to my door. Some minor assembly was required, but it was quite simple.
  8. Dandy looking for sure. Very cool! Nice job and great report as usual
  9. I believe I will be up there that weekend too. High divers out to 330' took some fish, not good numbers, low diver out to 260' was taking a few hits too.....Riggers really seemed to be our best presentation. Give me a shout on the radio if you do make it up the weekend after the holiday....
  10. Slow & Low. Finally was able to get out for some salmon slammin. I was hoping that Wednesday evening was going to be an indication that the days to follow were going to be red hot. Fished Wednesday evening, 150-200FOW south of Frankfort on a north troll that we ended just into the south end of the herring hole. Yeilded 6 fish out of 16 bites. Hot rig of the day, taking 1/2 of our hits, big white paddle & krw riverside fly. Fish were DEEP. Blue Mirage Meat rig took a few rips too. Thursday we did a double. Hit 6 in the morning and 3 in the evening. DOWN N' Dirty was still the ticket. Paddles and flies. Friday we got out and hit 5, same program. Same thing on Saturday ending with 5 also. Sunday was close to the same, ended with 7 out of 12 bites. About 11AM we were on a north troll and my wonderbread scarpace rig on the 10 color started singing, got him in, sent it back out and whammo, another one. After we got this one my 250 CU took off with a green on white spinnie and a green fly. Put it back out, and it took another hit immediately. All weekend of fishing very deep and finally some fish higher in the column. Here's a few pics. Sorry for a real lack of detail, as I didn't bring my log book with me....... Here's a few pics.
  11. Looks like you guys were busy.....
  12. Please explain, do you mean that your meat rig is 48-60" which would put the meat head 48-60" behind whatever flasher you're running?
  13. Another fantastic job, and thanks for the DETAILED report.....keep on em!
  14. Turbo, I would spread the column and let the fish tell you what to do. Keep changing it up until you see the desired outcome. Adjusting colors, depth, anything and everything....what maybe today, may not be the same tomorrow....
  15. nice job KJ Pluggin'......I have said it before.....I would rather have the action along with the misses, than not have the excitement. Some days the just don't stay hooked up
