  1. Nice job on the Saginaw Bay gold...... I think the walleye fishing is going to be hot real quick...if not already!
  2. 19# is a fantastic weight for this early in the year! Nice job
  3. Nice job,,,,,,it was a great weekend to be out....even better to get some fish!
  4. Nice job, reading these reports it sounds like fishing over deep water is the ticket right now....
  5. Busy couple of weeks coming up, so my lovely bride suggested that I get out fishing this weekend. Plans came together with FishingMachine2 and Au Gres bound Saturday morning. Woke up and check the buoys, @ 0530 it was SE @ 20knots, gusting to 22 Figured we were in for bumpy conditions. Cleared the jetties and rolled south toward the point in 2'rs. Started out around Pt Au Gres with the rest of the crowd, plenty of marks, but no takers. Finally got squeezed by 2 boats and had no room to move so we yanked gear and headed for less crowded water. Fished in shallower and worked to get 8 walleye. Stick baits and harnesses both took fish. Fished until about 1600 to get the 8 fish. With the weather predicted, I would imagine the bay is about to be certifiably red hot!
  6. Nice bird. Taking your lil buddy along is great!
  7. That's a great link. I hit the animate button, and that was AWESOME. Shows the affect of the wind and the sun has to warm up the water like it did. The water "moving" warming....pretty cool
  8. 1.4-1.6. Glass pink husky. Green Back stick bait, similar to a husky, a white/purple glow.
  9. Looks reel nice! :thumb: Riggers closed for good?
  10. Hopped on board with Scott (FishinMachine2) for a fun fishing trip Saturday. Found some dirty water and went to work. Long lining husky jerks 55-95 behind the boards in 10fow - 30fow seemed to be the ticket. Seemed when we would hit one, we would hit a couple. Weather was fantastic, and fishing was the same. Thanks for a fun day of fishing Scott! We had a good average size to the fish also....
  11. :thumb: Stingers were on, with the light bite that was the bite, I don't think I was setting it hard enough. When I would pickup the fish were just on the line, didn't feel any "hit"... Good to get out....
  12. Sure was a nice day to get out! Don't do it sniffer! Keep that boat nice and clean....maybe tubing and waterskiing off the back of it this summer!
  13. :thumb: Despite the known muddy like river conditions, I tagged along with Indybleck for a Detroit river expedition. We worked the steel mill / mud island areas from 7am - noonish. Water visibility was not good, maybe 4'6". Threw everything possible at them, 1 oz jig, blue ice plastic, is what hooked the most fish. Brought home a single good eater, and lost 2 NICE fish on the way up...very heart breaking. Thanks Tom for the trip! No place better to be!
