  1. Thought that was odd of you to say you had never run leadcore:confused:
  2. Russ We run 1.8 - 2.2 on the depth raider. We run a lot of deep cores mid season and never intentionally go below 2.0 at that point. This is northern Lake Michigan though.
  3. Damn Dog!! Nice job guys.....now that sounds like a fun day fishing!!
  4. Would love to hit this one and bring the family along. Unfortunately this is the same weekend as our UP firefighters tournament. Just as a heads up, this is also the same weekend as the Manistique derby which draws around 100 boats and is only 60 miles away. Sounds like a great time though guys:thumb:

  15. Laker for sure, but it looks more like a lake superior laker than a huron laker. Check out the pics i just posted in the lake superior report section.
  16. Coming up on your 2010 total pretty quickly this year Terry. AGAIN....nice job on another big box load of fish on the dirty dog:thumb:
  17. Most importantly....you had a GREAT NIGHT on the water Mark!! Nothing a little MORE money can't fix:grin:
  18. Took a nice 30 mile run to the big reef today with a couple of buddies to do a little scouting for the Grand Marais lake trout tournament coming up in a couple of weeks. Guaranteed 4k first place prize:eek: Big money for a 30 boat trout tournament!! Got out and just ran around the shallows near the drops watching the graph and didn't mark much at all. Dropped down in each set of marks and caught a couple to a few in the 6-10 lb range and kept pulling up and searching for the big boys and found that we didn't have enough cable on the riggers to get to them in 5-600' of water. They either have not come up yet or just decided to stay down today, but it is early yet. All in all it was a fun run and boated and released somewhere around 15-20 fish. Any spoon we tried worked and picked up a couple on musky torpedo divers that we had bouncing bottom in 130' with 300' of line out. Here are a couple of pics of the sunrise and a couple of the nicer fish we caught.
  19. Got out for a couple of hours yesterday and picked up 2 kings and a coho. kings went 5 & 6 lbs and a whopper coho that weighed exactly as much as the busch lights that i had to throw in the live well because i forgot the ice:eek: That lake superior water keeps them pretty cold though!!!
