  4. Fished 50-120fow, 3 for 5, one king 16.29# and two HUGE sheephead. Caught the king in 55fow using a steel slidediver and spotted dick meat rig and blue flasher, back 100ft and set on 3, sw troll. Hit 30 seconds after I put it in the rod holder. Sheepheads were hanging on my long line coppers. Fish were in close even in the warm water. Few marks in the 100-120 range. Meant Striker during the radio chatter. Wave 1-3ft. Another boat I was on the radio with not far from me, had no bites then quickly pulled in 3 kings, two in the high twenties and one over 30#. Mine would probably looked like a minnow next to those. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App I must of used up my picture allotment, I can't seem to post any pics. Sorry. Finally was able to post one.

  14. The inside bottom of my cooler is 31". He was laying pass the bottom and a little up the side as seen in the picture. I'll try and be a little more aware of the MA process, should I be as fortunate the next time. I suspect he was somewhere between 32-33". 18. The gums were white and the tail was square. It might be the angle I took the picture. Both were males and stuffed with alewifes. They were fat ones! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  19. 2/4 today, fished 50-90 fow, one 11.76# steelhead and one 6.78# coho. Lost my offshore board though when I didn't get the line behind the peg. Lake was calm to 1/2 waves. Heat was building. Both fish came off DR with speckled dick meat rig. 1/1 DR, Speckled dick meat rig, 68 fow, 48 dwn, 22ft back, 2.5 sog, north troll, ball temp 47.5 at 8:11am. (Coho) 1/1 DR, Speckled dick meat rig, 66 fow, 32 dwn, 70 ft back, 2.8 sog, ne troll, ball temp 52.4, at 12:02 pm. 0/1 on slide diver and 150 cu with various spoons, paddles/flies and a new cut bait rig. Some guys were getting great hits on their paddle/fly combos. Just couldn't get it to go for me. 3 rods vs 6 and 9 makes a big attraction difference. Enjoyed alot of good radio communication with fishing crowd.

  25. Fished 80-135 fow. 1 for 5, taking a 5# laker early on DR with green ice meat rig, down 77ft, in 89 fow. 2.3 sog, ne troll. 1/3 DR ,after 8am, had a big steelhead, hit my 150 cu with a ms hulk spoon, fought him for 10 minutes, when another large fish hit my DR, bent the DR rod holder and broke the line as it crossed into join the fight with the steelhead, before I could get to it to adjust the drag to buy some time. Both fish crossed each other and took my meat rig on one and spoon on the other, broke the lines and were gone. A GREAT but expensive feeling. Loaded up another meat rig setup and another fish took it with him. Evidently I'm going use larger lines for the florocarbon leaders. I was using 20#. I think I hit a feeding fenzy moment in that location. I had not lost so much equipment within a 20 minute period. 0/1 of wire diver, blue dolphin 0/1 150 cu. With green ms hulk spoon Ran some plugs today with no success.
