    Warbler, thanks. I haven't seen a king flake like this one if it is one. Mouth color can be deceiving at times(picture angle). The tail was not full of large spots, which is typically of kings, but on the upper portion of the tail as coho. Look closely if you zoom in to the tail in the cooler.     Holland am, 9-2-16 Fished 7:15-12pm, 2/7, 35-125 fow, cold water in close, lots of marks, had a couple of rips, but couldn't keep them on the hook. Moved out to 80-125 range marked fewer, again several rips, but picked up 8# laketrout and 4-1/2# coho. DR took both laketrout and coho with speckled dick meat rig. 1st one 31 dwn, in 90fow, 2.9 sog @ball, temp 48.4, west troll. 2nd one 55dwn, in 123fow, 3.0 sog @ball, temp 42.7, se troll. Lost real nice steelhead on surface bite while letting out line. 0-1 ft waves. Tim from Whitewhale joined me again today as well as a winged friend on reel.(Chickadee?)

    Fished 7:15-10am, 1 for 2, 7.71# steelhead, on slide diver, bk 140, set 3 with lucky charm plug, in 98 fow, ne troll, 2.4 sog. Waves were 4-6ft, 2-3 when we started. Tim from "Whitewhale" joined me. We caught steel while heading back to port as the wave conditions started to stay a steady 6ft.

    2/3 13.49# king and 6.10# coho. Fished 80-135fow, 8-12:30. Both hits on DRs. 1/2 stb dr, king, Speckled dick meat rig, bk 30, 2.7 sog @ball, temp 49.2, dwn 57 in 110fow, north troll 1/1 port dr, coho, green splatterback plug, bk60, 2.5 surface sog, dwn 105 in 116fow. Waves around 1ft today, was getting very hot during the am.

    Fished 4-8:30pm 1 for 3, 7.27# king on DR with speckled dick meat rig. West troll. 2.6 sog, in 95 fow, 80down, bk 30. Temp at ball 50.2 Fished 45-135 ft. Hit came at 4:57pm, couple rips later, but nothing rest of the night. Alot of boats out tonight. Waves were 3 ft, forecast was one. Lazy rollers type.

    Fished 2-7pm, 1 for 4, 11# king. Two rips and a lost approx 6# steelhead in 83 fow on dipsy w/gasoline meat rig in back of boat while netting. 1/1 on DR with speckled dick meat rig, in109fow, 73ft down 25 bk. Nw troll sog 2.9, temp at ball 57.5 (king) No bites on jplugs, spoons or flies. Some sample screen shots today. Fish big marks were in 110 ft depth. Lots of them. Waves were 2-3ft. Some great time with a grandson. Never fished before.

    Fished 50-120fow, 3 for 5, one king 16.29# and two HUGE sheephead. Caught the king in 55fow using a steel slidediver and spotted dick meat rig and blue flasher, back 100ft and set on 3, sw troll. Hit 30 seconds after I put it in the rod holder. Sheepheads were hanging on my long line coppers. Fish were in close even in the warm water. Few marks in the 100-120 range. Meant Striker during the radio chatter. Wave 1-3ft. Another boat I was on the radio with not far from me, had no bites then quickly pulled in 3 kings, two in the high twenties and one over 30#.
