  1. Welcome to GLF guys, let us know if you need anything.
  2. I have considered trying that before but never gave it a shot... It would be nice to not have to mess with the boards on the long coppers.
  3. Nice Brian, that's something I always wanted to do.
  4. I love it when they go crazy at the back of the boat, as long as they eventually find the net. Nice video Brian.
  5. We have a humminbird 858 on our boat and have been very happy with it, but I agree you can't go wrong with any of the units listed above. Like Sherman said try out some different units and see what you like.
  6. Nice, looks like they have gimbals in them too. Is that what that bolt at the bottom of the tube is?
  7. Good to hear everything came out alright Nick, scary moment for sure.
  8. Good looking buck Joe, congrats!
  9. I really depends on how much your looking to spend... If it's an option I would look into something like the boat in this thread.
  10. I would think that with a 5' boom you shouldn't have a problem reaching past the outdrive, you probably only need 3' to clear. If your in rough water and the weights are swinging to much just turn the rigger 45 degrees before you lower the weight. Once in the water the blowback should keep you far from the outdrive.
  11. Here ya go Chad. Good luck with the sale.
  12. When I am running boards I like to keep the rod tip high while it is on the holder so a little as line as possible between the rod and the board is dragging. When reeling them in I like to keep the rod tip low to prevent the boards from jumping and diving, the closer to the boat they get the more important this is.
  13. Nice video JB, looks like a lot of fun!
