  3. 2 for 4, a 25 lb king and a 3 lb king. Fished 7-9:02pm, 110-130, lost 1 fly by and a second very large king when it crossed our lines. I struggled to net him in the mess of crossed cu lines. I lost a T44 board with my name and number should it show up. I was able to take my son and two grandsons for their 1st lake mich fish trip. They said they never saw such a large fish. We had a great time. 25# king, 39" lg, on a South troll, 2.5 sog, ball temp 52.5, ball depth 49ft, in 125 fow at 8:36pm, happee meal ms mag, on DR bk 55. I had to cut the head in half to get it down the grinder. Caught 3# king 15 minutes later. A great time was had as they cranked on the rods and helped netting. 9. Fish solo 6-12pm, 4 for 7, all kings, 90-130 fow, couldn't get that last one to make it a limit. No bites the last hour. 2 small 3lb kings, 1- 6lb king and 1-21lb king. STB Rigger took 3 of the hits, one on a slider. Rigger was down 80ft in 124fow. 350 cu took the 6lb king, on a mag green flounder pdr. The small kings hit at 6:45 (rigger) & 7:58 am(slider). on E and SW trolls in 124-126 fow., on a std ms bloody nose and mag happee meal. The 21 lb king , hit at 7:01 am, on a mag happee meal, down 75 in126 fow, 2.5 sog, E trl, ball temp 46.9. Pulled my meat and flasher/flys when I saw nothing happening. This was a spoon bite for me today. Lake was flat and full of bugs, but a beautiful day none the less. Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app

  17. Nice coho! How much leader are you using with your dipsey? Are you adding anything to it? (Flasher etc?) These are not slide divers correct? Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  18. It's a venture trailer. No one seems to have the bunks not even the mfg can tell me when they will make them. Can't seem to get a straight answer. Not a good sign. Eastermarine (Delaware) has had them on order for more then a month from Venture trailers. They are a unique bunk with a 6 degree angle cut at the top to match most hulls. I'm working with a company to make my replacements, I will see how that goes. These I will make out of oak, not pressure treated pine as were on the trailer. Not cheap! Boat with not be able launch probably for a month or more while waiting trailer bunks. My back up plan should that fail will be made of the same pressure treated pine I can get at Lowes (4) 10'x8"x3" boards, liquid nails and stainless steel screws or deck screws put them together, cut the angle with my table saw and carpet them, mount them on the trailer while my boats sits at a launch ramp somewhere. Still looking for a spot. To keep it for a few hours so the trailer can be worked on. This is the cheapest by far and quickest, but It will not last the longest. The trailer was built in 2011 so the bunk that failed had a great run. I just waiting to see what works out with the more expensive plan. But, remember I have two boats so my 16-1/2' will still take me fishing, through I will have to watch the weather closer. Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  19. Fished solo, 80-150 fow. 2 for 2. Small lake trout 3# and a 8.18# steelhead. Most bait and fish were between 120-135fow. Both fish were loaded with bait. 1- lake trout, 3#, 11:33am, 5 eyes lure. on DR, down 100, in 140fow, 2.6 sog. S trl, ball temp 43.6. Alot of big marks down low. I was hoping for something bigger with all those marks. He spit his dinner up during my xfer to the cooler. 2-steelhead 8.18#, 11:57am, burnt bread on a slider on DR, rigger was down 98 in 130 fow, on a S trl.. Nice to see that gleam of the Steelie. Current was all over the place down deep. Lake was flat. No bites earlier in the am for me. When I went to pull my boat out, I noticed one of my bunkboards had partially collapsed. This is going to be quite a challenge to repair. Not what I was hoping for at the end of the day. Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  20. Good report you covered a lot of territory last night. I hope the Kings are starting to move down too. Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  21. Great job Aaron! There were very few boats out. Oh how I miss those extra lures when I don't have company. Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  22. Went 1 for 2, solo. Missed a short bite in 60 fow on my way out. Then at 9:39am picked up a pudgy king, 9#-28"long in a 150 fow, on a west troll, with a 250 copper pulling a mag MS Shelly stack. Lots of baits balls, no other takers. Marks 35 to 155 down most areas. More bugs, cover up or be eaten. I was hoping to make my Holland two fish limit, but I failed. Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app

  23. No king, but a 11#, 31" laker, on a DR down 108 in 155fow on a flounder pdr mag at 11:09am yesterday. I was halfway to my Holland two fish limit. Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  24. Went 2/2 today, finally got out after I installed a new water pump kit on my kicker motor. Fished solo north of Holland. 1-small king, 3.3#, 9:27am, ms std rv sniper on free slider, stb DR bk 55, 2.4 sog, N trl, ball temp 50.7, down 80ft, 156fow. 2-steelhead 5.13#, 9:39am, ms rv burnt bread, stb DR bk 55, 2.4 sog, N trl, ball temp 50.7, down 80ft, 150 fow. When I sent the 1st setup down a second time. The steelhead hit the main lure just as I attached the sniper slider to the main line. Beautiful day, bit of shake down cruise.. Temperature break was at 70-80 ft down. lake was almost flat. Rougher closer to shore than out farther. Also was buzzed by a drone near the CG station. Hovered over my boat as I just got inside the no wake zone and was heading toward the channel entrance. It surprised me at the crack of dawn. 25. Drifted down the TC today. Went 6 for 6 for a one man's limit in 2-1/2hrs. Fin-s golden shiner took all the bites. I didn't lose any jigs but snagged 2 of my stinger hooks. (2) 15, (1) 16, (1) 16-1/2, (2)17 . All males. LS was hot today. 15-22fow. Winds were low today for a change, but the boat wakes were worst than the 20mph winds my last trip. Today was a Monday, but it looked like a weekend. Wall to wall boats. Sent from my Z5156CC using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
