    Quick solo trip within the small window of nice seas. All hits between 5:45 am and 7:45 am in 120-140 FOW. Hits were perfectly spaced out which made the solo trip a breeze. 5:45 - 6:15 am. Missed two steelies(I’m guessing) after a bunch of tail dances. Couldn’t keep them in the water. Both on dipsy back 100 ft, 3 setting, with mag ms blue jeans. 6:30: 13 lb king, free slider with rigger down 85 ft. Standard dancing anchovy. 6:45 miss on rigger down 45 ft, dancing anchovy 7:00 5 lb steelhead, 300 WS, ms mag green jeans 7:45 am: 6 lb steelhead, ms mag blue jeans, dipsy back 110 ft, 3 setting Pulled lines 8:45 am as wind started to come up.

    Nice bite this morning. Limited out just after 8 am. Started in 80 FOW. First two fish on rigger down 48 ft. One on 200 WS early. Then two on 10 color. Hot color/lure was mag MS green jeans and half moon Shelly snack. One in 80 FOW, 4 in 105-110. Lake flat. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman

    Nice fish! I was out solo last night as well. Went 2-2. Fished mostly just inside the group in 120-135 FOW. Trolled in toward the end of my night into 80 FOW and pulled lines at 9:30. I wish I would have made it in to your depth! 6:45 pm: 13 lb king, rigger down 68 ft. Mag MS Green Jeans. 9:00 pm: 6 lb Steelhead, 300 WS, Mag MS Happy Meal. What didn’t work: high diver at various depths, meat rigs, lead cores. Beautiful night with calm waters and just an occasional light rain.

    Nice work,Ed. I tried following Ed around this morning to pick up his scraps. Didn’t work for me. LOL. I went 1-3, two hits in first 15 minutes then a nice boat ride for a couple hours. Called it at 9:00 about the time Ed started catching fish. .
