  7. I like to keep the tank full, when we're done, we split it evenly. But in the end, as mentioned above, I never come out on top, or really look to. There are expenses that come with owning a boat that I absorb solely. It sure is nice when people are able to, and willing to pitch in. But, at the end of the day, if they can't help out I'll likely take them out anyway. Some of my buds that I fish with don't get out often, and are friends I don't get to see often, so lack of $$$$$ from them is not a deal breaker.....I just wanna fish man....
  8. SJK, I was fishing 4oz BBs over the side right off the bottom. 2oz inline weights 20-40 back, all with harnesses. Been fishing a few different areas, anywhere from 20fow - 40fow
  9. I don't know where to get the results. If I Find them I'll post em.
  10. Thanks Mike. I drove right by you on the way out unfishable? No. Darn right snotty........absolutely.
  11. Took a day off of work on Friday to meet up in Au Gres with my crew. Kept an eye on the wind, and knew it was going to be rough, and it was. NNE winds 15-20 knots in the morning, but we were hell bent on prefishing for the Fireman's tournament. Made our way to the fishing grounds and put out a spread of bouncers, inlines trailed by crawler harnesses. Didn't even bother turning on the kicker motor, just put the waves at the stern and drifted to the tune of 14 fish. We threw back #15 a couple of different times. Purples, perchs, pinks, and yellows stood out for us. Bouncers down n out over the side out fished inlines by a large margin. Here's Friday's catch Entered into the Fireman's Tournament with a shot gun start @ 0700. I think there were about 60 boats entered We fished the same area that we fished Friday and started to put the boots to em' real quickly. 1st pass we had 6 decent fish in the box. We continued to grind it out. Had 10, and then we moved to some new water in search of the fish that was going to set us apart from the rest of the pack. We did upgrade with a decent fish, and had fantastic marks but we only pulled one. So we moved back to the area we started in and finished out our day, and actually end upgrading 2 more fish toward the end of fishing time. 19.87# for our 5, not monsters, but good enough to collect a check for 7th place. We were so whooped that we cleaned the fish before snapping a pic. Some really nice eyes, and a lot of them, being taken out of Au Gres right now.
  12. 5 fish , 19.87#, good enough for a 7th place check. 6th place was 19.88# it's a very FUN tournament .
  13. Nice job Chummer! Nice to see you in AuGres....Friday was pretty "sporty" out there, but the fishing was red hot :thumb:

  15. Yes, I'll be in the Fireman's this weekend Indy. You pulled the trigger on that boat you looked at last weekend?
  16. Yes, we stayed at the city campground. Will be back up on Friday to fish and stay the night, and fish again Saturday. If the weather/waves look good enough we're going to try and take my kids out to fish Father's Day on Sunday for a little while.... Will you be at the campground this weekend? And, did you hear me Hollering out my window at you Saturday morning?
