  16. Put a Garmin Echo 550 on the boat last year. Same as you, wanted a smaller unit on the dash. Any experience with these units? Very happy with it. A friend got one after seeing it on my boat and he is happy with his. Show rigger balls beneath the boat? Yes. Marks the thermocline. Marks fish and bait very well too. Track bottom well? Yes Show fish while at speed? No but I have not played with the transducer position to try to dial this in. Or spend twice as much and get the Furuno FCV627? You cannot go wrong with a Furuno.
  17. Thanks for the report!
  18. Nice job Mike, bet the new boat is nice.
  19. My buddy and I fished out of Bolles yesterday. Started in 18 feet of water north of the dumping grounds. Took us a couple hours to find a nice pod of fish and get some waypoints set. We started working them picking 1-2 on every pass. Bad thing was the east wind was picking up and starting to blow. Got to 10 fish and decided to head back to the docks rather than pound out another up wind troll over our marks. Had Lk Erie 4 footers with white caps and building. All our fish came on small stinger and yeck spoons trolled behind diver disks out 80 and 90 ft. Took a few fish off riggers on the bottom. We let go 8 undersize walleye too. 21-22 ft of water was best. Good luck!
  20. Nice catch!
