  1. I think the biggest advantage is when a fish hits and releases you only have to fight the fish and not the board. I did switch to in-lines a few years back, and I don't think I'll be going back to the big boards. The big boards could also be a good tool for early in close fishing.
  2. Troy, It's going to keep getting better. Thanks for the report.
  3. Mark. What a nice pic of your fishing partner and Kings.
  4. Terry GJ and thanks for the report.
  5. Adam, Just mail me a check and we'll gitter done.
  6. That's one big football.
  7. Cory, GJ on the ones you did get to the boat. I'm sure your batting average will improve.
  8. Prayers for his rescue or recovery. Unfortunately a lot of these types of accidents do involve alcohol.
  9. Way to nail em Nailer and crew.
  10. It will only get better Dave. I'm glad you got the skunk off the new boat.
  11. It will get better. Quality time on the water is what it's about. Give the cabin boys a ^5 from me.
  12. Nels, Yes right at the park @ the mouth of the Tawas River. I think it's still a small boat launch. The river mouth area is pretty shallow.
  13. GJ as always Phil. Sorry about the break offs.
  14. What an extreme pleasure fishing aboard the NEW Dirty Dog. I was a pooped puppy after dealing with a power outage that lasted over 27 hours. Terry and Mike (SeaMac), handled the back of the boat like the professionals they are. As I mentioned I was over tired and opted to stay on the helm about 90% of the time. I did reel in the Steelie on long core, and set a rigger and slider just so I wouldn't feel totally useless. The campsite meal put on by Terry and Sarah was fabulous. It was a lot of fun and I hope I can fish on the Dog again, and possibly lure Terry over to this side for some Walleye Whackin. A big THANK YOU to Terry P and his wife Sarah.
  15. GJ Adam, JD, and Kevin. It was a pleasure to meet all at the campsite.
  16. Grant, A very warm welcome to you.
  17. Chris, We will be staked out @ site # 63. Dirty Dog will be sharing that site with us. Plumcrazy is near us also. SeaMac should be there also. It will be nice to meet some more fishermen.
  18. Get the engine tuned and get a GPS. Bags are a good way to slow you down.
  19. Dave, Work the bugs out and it will get better.
