  1. It was a slow season for everyone this year Aaron. Congrats with your new family again.
  2. Welcome aboard Travis. Yes they can, and hopefully some of the guys that are good at it will chime in.
  3. That record (world) was broken last year with a Brown from Wisconsin.
  4. Nice job with the league Jon. Only 1 blow date is great. Too much work this year kept me away, but I hope to change that next year.
  5. Bowkers did a fantastic job for me, but be forewarned, it's not cheep.
  6. It has to be a labor of love. You likely will never get the return on your investment.
  7. Welcome to the site Robert. Nice work on the fish.
  8. #20 in the past, but the fish where not as big. #30 may be a better option.
  9. To much work this year, and not enough fishing. 2 over 20, but not the tuna that everyone else is getting.
  10. Don't be afraid to pound the bottom in that skinny water. Kings get a bit spooky mid day, but will hit a flasher/fly that wackes them in the head.
  11. Brian, My Tiara is 31 years old, and is as solid as the day it was manufactured. Not all boats are prone to rot, and stringer damage. Stay away from the Bayliner, and other manufactures that make boats for a price. If you are solely going to fish the great lakes, go with a glass boat. If you want a multi purpose boat, go with aluminum. Starcraft, and Chrestliner make some very nice Aluminum boats, that are multi purpose.
  12. The fish are ready to hit the pier heads Ben. Don't be afraid to fish skinny water. When the whole pack heads up to the point, you can stay back and fish the area in front of the power plant to the south with great success.
  13. I did see a big boat with a shinning halo around it. That must have been the Boltman. What is the name on your boat Robert?
