  3. Nice Job Mike That one steelie sure is a chunk I guess it was rougher up that way.. yesh. We had a bit of a calming down period that lasted about 40 min. or so around 5ish then it started gettin rough again.
  4. Fished from 4-7:30pm w/Rdfishin. Ran the Tangled Mess Mini's program (TY Don) and went 4-5 with 3 steel, 1 laker, and had 2 others take some drag. Fished 40-70fow. 3,5 an 7 color cores did the work. Some Pics...
  5. No twistin. Jus make a U shape and pull it into the end till it kinda snaps and gets past a small lock.
  6. Had a friend ask me about the Penn GT2 reels. Never had any experience with these reels and didnt know what to tell him about them. Any owners out there willing to give us a field test report for them?
  7. My experience with Walkers with 20-30 pound test using paddles/flashers is they dont hold very good even when tightened down all the way. Even had a few occasions where the line would wrap around the release an extra time from the rotation of the flasher and not release at all. Any quick faster change in boat speed/tightened down to hard they will release. With manual riggers it is a real pain, Tho im pretty sure not many of you use these. When the fish are poppin left n right early morning/dusk its hard to beat the quick set up of the Walkers tho. That said, I jus like the Blacks for my paddle/flashers and the ability to tighten them down to hold a lil heavier line. Like em both use em both.
  8. Why not use both Walkers and Blacks? I have Walkers set closest to my rigger weights used for straight spoons, Then above the Walkers I have Blacks for big paddles/flashers applications in order to really clamp the line down from false releases from the paddles/flashers. Also not against half hitching a rubber band and putting them on either if I notice im gettin into a few smaller/shaker fish.
