  7. Thanks for the report, hope your boat runs great from here on out. I wouldn't run out 10 miles after mechanical issues in rough seas either. Good to check her out in-shore and know she's running good. Sent from my SM-G920V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  12. First troll of the year for us. Started about 150 fow and headed west straight out. Slow and steady pick out to 240 fow and back in. Had a spread of thin fins on boards of various colors and spoons on riggers, divers and short cores. After the first few fish all hit red and blk squiggle thin fins, we put 6 of them out clean on boards with 75 ft leads and they took 80% of our 20 cohos. The others came on star burst spoons on 3 and 4 color cores and uv mixed veggie on a rigger down eighty and a diver out 45 ft. Sent from my SM-G920V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  15. I'd say a good chance to hit a fish there this time of year. Having a spawn pole on the bottom would up your odds. If you have a cast net and can catch some ales if around, they can be killer fished on a pier spawn rig. That would make a nice 3 rod set. Sent from my SM-G920V using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  20. Thanks for the report. Cohos head offshore when it warms up like that. When we used to have large year classes of kings, they would start taking off when the Cohos left but kings have been so depressed in recent years, there just aren't enough around like it used to be. You could probably target Lake trout bumping bottom inshore in the next month or more and there always a chance to hit a few kings up higher..
