What material are those bags made out of? Looks like windshield vinyl. The only thing that would concern me with that is condensation building up inside and not able to breath. Otherwise I am interested. Thanks.
I was just in Racine not too long ago. I stopped by Great Lakes Skipper to pick up a Radar arch for my boat. Racine looks like a nice town wish it was closer:D
Some great advice. Not sure I can add anything other then I agree with your budget that dipsey's, and either boards, lead, copper in the mix. You can always add one rigger at a time as expenses allow.
hahaha yeah no kidding eh! It always is a tough winter even when they aren't as long as this one! Makes the summer fishing all that more special! We still have 8-10 inches of ice yet:( You guys need to get out and catch a few for us yoopers:D
Congrats on your addition to the family! I was 4# 1oz when I was born. I will translate that for you now! I wish that would correlated in my favor to my waist size now!lol
Thanks for the info! I thought about the twilli tip, but I think I will go the hardend eye route. I think I will try out the JR's rods, because I want a rod I can use for other applications as well. Kinda the reason I don't want the roller rods. I will have to give some feedback after trying them this year.
I am going to run two wire line dipsey's this year. Im not really interested in a rollor rod. Is there anyone on here running JR's rods? Any other suggestions besides a rollor rod? Thanks.
I hope I made a good purchase. I should have done some digging on the internet before I made the purchase. Seems they might have a customer service issue. However I did send them an email explaining what happend and they did respond for me to give them the serial number and they would issue me an RMA for service, so maybe the internet is the way to go vs the phone with them. The reason I bought this particular unit was lowrance was having a blowout sale if you bought the Globalmap you basically got the LRA 5000 Radar for free. I hope I am one of the satisfied customers....time will tell.
Another option that works pretty good is to hit it with a pressure washer if you have one. Dial down the pressure so it doesn't damage the wood. Its pretty painless this way. If your teak is varnished then this option won't work. I oil mine, so the pressure washer is the ticket for me.
