  1. 10 for 15 out of st joe.caught all fish right out front in the dirty water.firetiger thin fin 75 back,and small stinger spoon (green and silver)13 down on a rigger worked the best.
  2. Thanks for the report Westrate. kevin I am surprised you do not just run from holland down to saugutuck.I do it all the time in my 16ft.It only takes 15 to 20 min.Just watch the weather closely.Hopefully i can finally make it out this weekend.now that my truck is out of the shop.
  3. fished for perch late this afternoon ended up with 23 nice ones.then trolled for a little while and ended up 2 for 4 right at sunset.browns.caught the perch in 60ft straight out from rosy mound.
  4. Did not turn around. got scared and wet,and figured I had enough for a couple good meals,and headed back. I will return!! for revenge!
  5. made a short trip out of holland this morning.fished the beach from the pierheads to just past tunnel park,and then went out to around 50ft and trolled back.0 for 0. st.joe spoiled me yesterday. need to get back down there soon! happy easter.
  6. fished st. joe this morning,and went 7 for 10. it was hot right away,and as soon as the front came thru they shut right down.orange jointed rap.,and clown jointed rap was our best bait.

  8. fished out of st. joe today.3 for 7 cohos. I fished 5 to 20 fow.from the pierheads to just past the junk cars.blue and silver thunderstick had the most action 100 ft back on a board.water temp 38 to 40. water was cloudy.they will be pretty tasty tonite.
  9. 0 for 0 south of holland this morning.I saw one other boat catch a fish down towards saugatuck.I trolled floating raps in between the sandbars.water 38-40 and pretty clear.lake was flat.
  10. 1 for 4 this morning(steelhead) started out by halfway creek and trolled to saugatuck piers and then back to about the creek.steelhead took a silver and green stinger scorpian on a shallow rigger 50ft. back. lost 2 on a brown trout floating rapala 100 back.lost another one on a gold and black floater 120 back.after loosing the three I found out my hooks need some maintenance.water temp 39-40 deg. trolled the sandbars.
  11. got the boat out for the first time yesterday,and trolled the sandbars from holland to saugatuck.never had a hit. water was very clear. too clear.I messed around out front of saugatuck in the dirtier water for a little bit,lots of junk floating around.water temp was around 37-38 on the beach.oh well the boat ran good anyways.
  12. nice job! I always loved fishing manistee for browns.may have to give it a try again.
