mj6131 Posted June 27, 2010 Share Posted June 27, 2010 Kind of a late report for Friday morning but...One exciting hour at sunrise. Set lines at 65 ft. At 80', rigger at 50' with mod. blue dolphin went twice in a row, as I was getting other lines set. Two 3 or 4 pound kings. Other rigger at 65' went, pulled real hard for a minute, then was just gone. While resetting the rigger, wire dipsey w/ flasher/fly at 120 back went, one of the best fights I've had all year, a 17# king. While resetting the dipsey, 5 color lead/mag lemon ice screams, submarines the board, 12# king. I'm letting this one back out, I say to the wife, all I have to do is get this one back out, I can sit down for the first time in an hour... full core screams, submarines board, another 12# or so king. After taking a breath, I checked the 65' rigger, had a king the same size as the first two, but no release.6 for 7 in the first hour, burnt gas for another hour with nothing else.Ran in to 50', picked away at perch for a while, 25 decent ones.All in all, a great day.
