SPOONWASHER Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 Headed out to South Haven again this weekend with a little luck. Took one coho first thing in 80 fow 43 down on the Downrigger with a killer dolphin spoon. We missed a fish on the Braided Dipsy140 back set on 2 in 85 fow. Had 2 hits on the full core with a killer dolphin, one being a big steelhead. It was the biggest and prettiest steely we have ever boated! Had one more rip on the half core with a red head j plug. Everything started off fast and furious with most of our hits coming in the first hour. 80 fow was the best and the killer dolphin was hot! Next weekend is the youth deer hunt so unless I get a deer Saturday we wont be out for another couple of weeks. Good luck out there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
