jay d
headed over to manistee yesterday morning with adam bomb and it was a blast:grin:.things started of slow we fished on the bank till the sun came up with little to show for it.the east wind did not help things.we pulled lined and ran out 15 miles looking for the breaks with no luck.fished out there for a few with out a hit.ran back in and found some fish on the graph and got set up for thr third time, took a hit right away and lost it,story of the day.then we got the break i was hoping, for the wind switched to the south and died right off.now it was on ,we had 2 triples and 4 or 5 doubles.by the end of the day we ground out our limit, but we had to work hard for it.we had over 40 fish on and got 23 to the boat.they just would not stay hooked, and yes we were using sharp hooks(gamagatsu mostly):grin:lead was the ticket today 2,3,5,and 7 colors riggers at 25,45,65 took a few.mixed veggies was the hot pattern for sure, steelie stomper, blue coyote, fire ball andnuked veggies took fish too.allmost all of our action was in a half mile stretch along the bank in 80 to 100 fow.we ended up catching 12 lakers,9 kings and 2 coho.adam your welcome aboard anytime:grin:

jay d
we had a lot of fish hooked up but we worked hard for them,we fished from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm to do it.adam worked his $@% off on the back of the boat,he's the man.the best part was we had that 1/2 mile stretch all to our selves not another boat in site:grin:frank i would have to put manistee down as my favorite port, even though we are a lot closser to the bay.i just love those silver fish
