  1. Bob, Thanks for the report. We need rain also. It's tinder dry around here. We didn't have much snow or rain.
  2. Tyler, A very warm welcome to you.
  3. Duane, Fantastic. Love them fire drills.
  4. We would always try for a 2.7 mph down speed when targeting Kings. If we were after Lake Trout for a tournament, we would slow to about 2.0 mph. Nothing is cast in stone and different lures run better at different speeds. Even the fish seem to like it different some days. They are a good tool, but if you are tuned to rigger whine, dipsy rod bend, blow back, etc, you will feel when it's right.
  5. We had a similar experience a couple of months ago. My wife made some on- line purchases and so did I on the same day. Anything that isn't the norm, triggers it. It's good to know they are on the ball.
  6. The boat looks to be in excellent condition. Ya know I love them hardtops.
  7. Adam pretty much nailed it. I usually start on the slow end this time of yr and pick it up if needed. You just have to find out what they want, then give em lots of it. If you are picking up fish on the turns note if it's inside (slow) or outside (fast). Sometimes it's just hard to figure them out. Last year we had a trip where the fish would hit inside and outside. They just wanted it different. Just when you think you have it all down pat, those SOGs will humble you.
  8. That's good to know. WTG Sprint.
  9. VG Thread.
  10. I have some spooled right now. It works well.
  11. Jason, If hiding the wires is a must, what about some wire mold?
  12. Nothing like a St. Joe Ho.
  13. WTG Jason. No more "Can You Hear Me Now". The safety factor is the main thing. Most of my stuff was already mounted on the dash. On a HT the radio mounted overhead would be the way I'd go.
  14. Some good points. I have a throwable on the starboard jump seat. I have had guys move it on me. I politely let them know why it must remain right there.
  15. Glad he's up and rolling. Seems like the trailer company should make good on repairs and tires. Probably was built at the end of a shift.
  16. Mike, Ya need to have a little $ in the rat hole just for these occasions.
  17. Mark gj on the lakers.
  18. It's good to get that stuff behind you.
  19. Jay, GJ in bad conditions.
