  1. I agree with Line Dancin, at the show a few yr's back on the last day I got 6 new rods at ONE booth I named my price for 6 rods and said or you can load them back your truck, started to walk away and he said OK, but it don't work all the time.

  3. Welcome aboard Ali! I Hope go'es well over the winter there is fish out there with your name on them, Also I'am an Eastsider Port Sanilac and mainly Harborbeach and North and fish the Bay from 1st Ice till ice out in the spring for walleys.
  4. Yep, I think guys are on the right track, our MDNR will wait till the horse is gone then shut the barn door, it happen in lake Huron w/Invasive stuff ya know, make me kinda mad.....;.;.;
  5. This is a good time to save your tuna fish oil A qt. or pint is enough for a year depends if your wife will let you keep it in the frig. Here's what I do and it works, I take a old j-plug that I don't use, or don't catch fish I'am sure we all have them and cut about 3/8" off the tail end, or as you may remember the one's that had a screw in tip that you took out and put light stick in, works too. I use that hole to put tuna oil in it No more then 1/2 full, put small piece of cotton in the end works as a wick when pulled through the water, then I take the hook set off the plug and replace with a 12" pike leader and put setup behind my cannon ball as my deepest rig in the spead, as scent will go up in the water. I then use a stacker type release about 12"-24" above the ball hook your line in and get ready, works great on slow fish, Also get an old mustard bottle, works good to keep oil in and put oil in j-plug.

  7. Jason, I will agree w/ Mike if you bleed them you'll wounder why you hadn't before, I think of it I will take pic's of my bleeders that I run on my boat and post them, simple outfits to make and they work I run one on each side, and then get a cheap pair of scissor's to cut gills,

Well the dogs water dish was hard water the last few mornings it was time to get the ICE FISHING down from the upstorage in the shed last night, I even went over to the sled hooked up the battery and it fired up, WOW, even the ice auger fired up on the 3rd pull, but Now we'll be warm for month you watch, but I'am going to be ready anyway, In 3-4 weeks could be first ice on the bay, maybe some perch in front of the sugar beet plant off the cuts @ sebewaing,

  15. Nice find Ben, you'll be very pleased with that boat a couple of my freinds have a S.C. nice boat. As for rigging don't be in a rush and do it right, the guys on here know what it take's Good luck and keep the picture's coming as you progress with your adv. Note: my wife told me I could get some new rigger's this winter so I may have 4 electric cannons for sale "cheap" we'll see how it go'es

  17. Welcome aboard Adam. I fish lake Huron west side the diver's don't produce much here anymore but I have them for lake Michigan where they work well.

  21. I'am so sorry to hear kinda loss, I didn't know any thing of it untill now, and my thoughts and prayer's go out to the family.
  22. Thanks {John} great video makes me want to do that trip someday, you'll be my choice in that attempt to tackle the big north pond.
