  2. I would agree with NAILER, I've been running the Okoma 30d's I think for 4yrs w/wire and 10-1/2 ft. Okoma rods, must have twilley tip on rod! been no problems at all. P.S. Pretty sound when that wire takes off w/a king

Went to Grindstone and waited till 11:00 am to launch because of a storm that was coming across the bay:eek: ended up not being to much just rain:thumb:, Headed out at 330 degree's till we hit 110 F.O.W hooks on the sceen at 60- to the bottom 74.6 degrees on top set up, as usual 2 color lead orange crush ice pro king = pink, mag dippsey#2 setting 290' back 11" green paddle w/ green fly = laketrout, full core = 5#steelie on mongo streak, laketrout on rigger @ bottom brushed dogger w/funky chicken spin-n-glow, then steelhead on holloween steak 5' off bottom rigger:confused:, had a couple of other knock offs, talk about fish that are messed up, but not bad for a mid-day 3 hr trip:cool:.

  6. GLF; MIKE, how is the little fisssssh project coming along? everyone should have pitched in and help it's a great program for the KIDS, they are more inportant then we think they'er are future fisherman, need to keep them interested. My 2 cents worth.

Good job on the fish, And those Flies But I have done this 1/3 bleach +1/3 dish soap + 1/3 water windex spray bottle and spray inside of boat when you start getting flies on board, WARNING try not to get it on fabric, my boat is wash-down it so it's easier to deal with, but it Works most of the time.

Thanks Guys; Now the pictures are on here, I've had the boat 10yrs now, set up = 4 electric cannon's, 2-6ft out downs, and 2-3ft back corners, lots-a rod holders, never know where ya gata move rods when you have fish on, Have lorance 5400 globel map, 540c grahf, 900 sub-troll a must, 2 planner board set-ups I made out of 2 big manual riggers, 305 cobra, before this boat I had a 22 islander hard top, but this was always my DREAM boat, so I try to keep it nice.

I put 2 pictures somewhere in the gallery but I can't seem to get them here:confused: Maybe someone can do it for me I've got to get my Son to do this and show me About ready to go to pentwater fishing, have to change oil yet, just brought home saterday from the harbor, its been there all summer.

Hope this works:confused: Took kids out went to 110' set rods, and click click fish on full core, was fun see 2 kids team up on that, 4-5 lb salmon, then the 8 yr old says I need to go in , took about 1 hr to get back in the program took 2 more a pink and a lake trout, and the time was up and my rookie mistake left the camera on, (dead) batteries:mad: But all in all good day.
  18. Allways #4 crome green on lead rod full core all year if I'am over 60 F.O.W. takes a fish every trip, or green spatter hord good too.
  19. Rick, I think 1/2 core would be it with braid backer, mono leader, I use the 330 penn for full core w braid backer, w/9' firewolf rod nice set-up, good luck. There is others I'am shur.

Hope I don't have to use PUKE bucket tomorrow for the kids fishing day, Mother Nature is talking 1-3's north wind out of Harbor Beach, My Boat and crew will take it fine but the Kids I don't know 9 to 12 yr olds a lot them never been on boat, we'll see hope to get some pictures and post them Monday, always been a good thing around 50 kids and 20 boats if no one backs out with boats, a lot of fun most of the time.
  21. I was just on Captain Chucks web page, he is warning people to use caution out on Lake Michigan there is debrie floating in the water coming from wisconson do to a lot rain and west wind BE CAREFULL guys.
  22. Good job John; Thanks for the info. Somtimes I think there is a BIG X on my hard top, they get so close that I have told them that they a fish-on and then they tell me they have lead out, O-WELL I say I'll own it if I hook it with my wire dippsey, they usally turn away. its kinda funny....

TopDawG; good too see-ya yesterday at port hope, also I got the knot down, the albright simple to do, can't wait to get over to pentwater and tie in to some those's hoggs to see if it holds, good luck in Frankfort next weekend, I'll be doing the Kids thing in Harbor Beach, keep the lines tight and the hooks sharp.
