  1. I have a pare of Great Lakes Plainer trees. I am happy with them. They are adjustable.
  2. Fished straight out of Sterling State Park out by the Ohio Border and some times into Ohio in 27 fow. 6:30 am Purple seemed to be the color. Landed 8 walleye 4 of them were 14 3/4. Just a little short. The other 4 were 18 to 22 inch range. What worked, Purple large Hot n Tot, Purple Crawler Harness, Purple mini spoons, also got one on a bloody nose spoon. Nice day on Erie.
  3. Aaron, my boat name is tangle factor. I will be launching early our of Stearling tomorrow, Monday. Give me a shout on 68.
  4. The weeds usually get worse, however the wind can blow them out so they are not as much of a problem. I didn't see any yesterday. Going back tomorrow.
  5. WE were on the water by 6am and went south to the dumping grounds. I set four lines. Two craller harnesses and two spoons off the DR. Caught lots of silver bass and o ne 8" walleye. Moved to the front of the Rasin river in Ohio water. 26 foot. Ran some hot n tots.. Caught a 14" and a few more silvers. Then landed a nice 22" off of a large hot n tot, black and silver. Got off the lake before the storm. Back again on monday.
  6. Frank it is good to have you back on the water. I have been missing your reports. Glad your shoulder is better. Tight Lines
  7. Nice job to both of you. Now I know what all of the training was for. Good job.
  8. Great report Jeff. Sounds like the new boat is working out just fine.
  9. Nice Job Ed, thanks for the report. Why are their tails cut off?
  10. Looks good Ken, now just get her wet!!
  11. Nice mess of fish Terry. Thanks for the report.
  12. Nice job Ed. Thanks for the report.
  13. I also run Captain Kings meat rigs. I always run a glow Red Meat Rig behind a Big Al's flasher on the starboard rigger. Other good colors for me are mountain dew, silver and gold.
  14. I am shooting for Easter Weekend.
  15. I assume you are talking about wire for wire Dipsey Diver rods. I don't use any backing. I just filled the spool with 1000 yards of wire. It works good and there is no backing to worry about rotting or replacing. When the wire gets kinked up I just cut some back and I am ready to go.
  16. Looks great Don. Should be a lot of fun.
  17. I have NFB steering on my boat and it works great. When you let go of the wheel the engine stays right where you left it.
  18. Yes we run them on the Tangle Factor all of the time. Big Al's Flasher. Usually run one on the starboard down-rigger in front of a meat rig. Sometimes off of a dipsy diver as well.
