  1. Well Ken, I think I have just enough stuff left to come over so I will be there to donate my cash and bring home some fish. I like the blue glow frog color Steve
  2. I saw it advertised in the michigan sportsman magazine this month.
  3. They lady we were in land contract with was had no insurance and they are trying to say that voids my insurance. It sounds like I will have to get a lawyer
  4. I believe that the tackle shop across the street has 1. They said it wasn't up and running when I was there in early april.
  5. I was up last night wiping what I could off but and I probably won't get to really clean them till this weekend as I have the house to take care of first. I have enough stuff to fish with that was unharmed so if I can't get them clean I just start over. Just like most fisherman I had enough stuff to run a small charter boat so I guess its kind of like a spring cleaning
  6. I had 80% of my salmon and walleye tackle damaged in a fire. Most of it is burned and melted so I threw all that stuff away. Now I have some spoons and other misc tackle that was not on the shelf, that has smoke damage. Do you guys think I can save it or just toss it and start over. Most of it has heavy smoke soot covering it. And any ideas what I could try to wash it with as I don't think smoke sent is a very hot seller on the lakes. Also I had to toss all my rods as the tips melted and broke, and i am going to clean all the reels as they have very light smoke damage. So any opinion on reel cleaning would help. Thanks Steve
  7. Thats an awesome boat or the bay. Nice ride.
  8. I just saw that depth raider has a new throttle control on the marker also. You may want to sheck with them if troll master doesn't fit
  9. thanks I ave run the riveiera plastic boards and sold them. They rEALLY DIDN'T PERFORM AS WELL AS THE WAVEWALKERS
  10. That's a nice box of fish you got there. and it looked like a nice day on the water.
  11. Mama's twisting my arm, if I can get the house gutted I may be able to drag the small boat over fri night and fish sat am. I just have to get all of our belongings into a dumpster and all the dry wall out of the whole house so they can get to the smoke remediation on saterday while I'm gone. I am keeping my fingers crossed. 12 days I think I can do that after I take the rest of this week off. And she found out I tried to sneak $200 in blood run copper and reels from bretts into the house today. Hope to see you guys there Steve T-18 days
  12. I am going to try to make them out of the pvc 1x12 and ust the old foam boards as a pattern and just transfer all the folding hardware. And if that doesn't work It looks like cedar
  13. Thanks We were able to get enough cloths from the laundry room that were hardly touched. We have enough to get settled and start getting new stuff. Hopefully when we are able to get back in we can get some of the pics and other non replacables. Thanks We really appreciate all the offers. Steve, Heidi, Mackenzie, Hunter, Morgan & Logan Kelly
  14. I a, so jealous nice work. I think I need to relocate to the west side
  15. Funny I did remember to shut the door and they said it saved a lot of heat damage. But the smoke ruined all of our stuff. We were leasing the house as we looked in the area for a new home. And I just found out today that when we changed insurance companies in FEB they never put renters on the insurance. I missed it when I reviewed the policy before I singed it. What a mess up on my part. The land lord said she would see what she could get covered under her insurance since it was a building prob So we are hopping for the best Thanks to everyone that has offered help it really means a lot to the whole family.
  16. IF you have not checked yours lately please check them now. We had a fire at our home that totaled the inside and while it was not our detector that saved us had we been sleeping it would have been our only warning. The fire started in a back bedroom and when I first dsaw it it was very small on a wall and mattress by the time I made to the kitchen for water and backl to the bedroom the fire had engulfed the mattress and was up the wall and all ove the floor. So It was time to get the kids and wife out. While I called 911 on my cell I got brekly PD and they had to transfer me to Royal oak. The fire dept was there with in 10min of the call and were excellent with the kids. Thanks Steve Kelly and Family
  17. Well it looks like a good day tomarrow. Whos getting out? Wish I could make the trip this weekend Buit good luck Guys. Looking forward to your reports Steve
  18. I was able to work out a trade for the needed work. I traded putting a new roof on his shop for all the needed work so I can be ready in a few weeks.
  19. While I am not sure yet I will probably be missing the first event as we had a fire at my home. While we all made it out I just don't see it in the finances to make it over that weekend. As I have to find a new place to stay. I will be looking forward to being at the rest of the events this summer. Steve Kelly Team Bladerunner
  20. I have an excal also. I like the simplicity of the recurve limbs over the compund C bows. I have total faith in 50yrd shots as far as hitting the mark.
  21. I am changing my copper rigs to swivals instaed of albright nots. What is a haywire twist? And how many times do I twist it? Steve
  22. Last year a saw a 30' cabin crusier in sunset and I was out of there 1 time late in the season Channel was 3-4 deep but I was in 5' of water about 500' from shore/ And it is primarly sandy. I have never been out of thomas but the have a few larger boats there as well. That sure beats out of sebewaing a mile and a half thruogh the bouys.
  23. At least you got out If we caught fish every time it woulnd't be fishing
  24. Welcome to the site. I will be up there also. Start out to the south (south of fish point). Early I run harnesses on BB in 10-14' At around 1.0 on the GPS. If I am geeting alot of sheepshead I pick the BB off the bottom about a foot or so and speed up. I will be launching out of sunset or thomas marina as they have a shorter run to the lake and fishing grounds. If you are really getting a lot of fish you can switch to cranks and you won't get as many sheads. Steve blade runner on 68
  25. Make sure you out it on craigslist. I have 3 buddys that have all sold smaller boats in the last month. And post it in all diffrent cityies. Good luck Steve
