super late start (set lines at 7.30PM) + super slow start (not even a bite until the sun disappeared fully at around 9pm. Went 9 for 15 in the next 65min, however, so that felt redemptive.

our best depth was 122fow but after dusk we were getting them on as close as 102fow

PUG is wise beyond his years & recognized the lake had flipped warm again and that is why we went quite a ways north... when we pulled we were even north of Pigeon Lake

highest setup to go was 5color chrome red head (big ole steelhead)

copp150s went 4 or 5 times with moonshine spoons

dipseys were hyper active each were running meat

riggers went only once or twice - spoons 

copp350 went with moonshine spoon

Great report. Sounds like you had an hour long fire drill! We hope to get out tomorrow morning, but waves up north may keep is us home.

Great job on getting them to bite.  Our Ninja divers were dead in the water with spoons running 30+ leads.  Your divers with meat were on fire.  Congrats!

145fow 300-350cu and low divers 150 back were excellent pre-sunset, took 8 hits. Deep lines shut down after 9pm tho.

Thank you for the report I am always impressed ! I lost 4 fish on The same night 2 on divers and 2 on the riggers does anyone have any good tips or insight on what I could do different ? I alway stress with everyone who is fighting the fish on my boat to keep the line tight no slack etc. from what I was seeing no one was giving any slack or pumping etc. it’s hard for me to tell without having the rod in my hands .

I did end up having a bent hook on a fly 

what size/brand hooks do you prefer for flys standard spoons and mag spoons ?

I replace the treble hook on all my mag spoons with VMC 9650 X Strong Round Bend and put this on any lure that I am putting down for big fall kings.  These hooks have a great bite but some fish still get off - like the one we lost on 300WS with a mag glow Moonshine Soda spoon tonight.  I use Gammy 2/0's on just about everything else.
