Eyefull
Here's a photo of a fish my buddy caught last week on the St. Marys River. Any guess as to what it was? I'll post what the DNR said it was after everyone chimes in. I never heard of such a fish. Sorry, that is the best photo I recieved.

EdB
Hard to see it markings but I'll guess either a Pinook(king/pink cross) or an Atlantic salmon.

pbrktrt
Looks 1/2 catfish 1/2 brook trout. Probably looked better in the pan.
tbromund
the large spots on the tail suggest pink salmon, but the rest doesn't really look like a pure hen pink salmon so I'd agree with the majority that it is probably a pink/chinook hybrid or "pinook". Unfortunately, it's really hard to see any detail in that pic to say for sure.Tim

Eyefull
The DNR biologist confirmed that it is in fact a "Pinook" like many said. Never seen one of them things before, or even heard of them. I told him either way, it should go on the wall.
