prop nut Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 I can find problems with both video's I would like to see what each guy would do with a prop that dont want to come off or a out drive thats stuck/stubbern What are we going to do when the going gets tough? less than half of these sort of out drive removals go this easy if they are not done anually just my 0.02 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
N II Deep Posted November 1, 2011 Author Share Posted November 1, 2011 I have been removing mine every year, I pull the hyd arms, lift the out drive up, put a 3/4" steel rod in between the drive and the gimble ring and let the weight of the out drive push itself out, this work's very smooth with no binding.
