jimcr
Today was the first day I fished with J plugs and we went 2 for 3 on the J plugs, Lost a 15-20lber at the boat ,put on a show in the air. . Do you normally fish a j plug behind a flasher or run it naked? I ran them naked but was wondering if I should run it behind a flasher such as a spin dr or a flasher? or should it run behind a dodger? and which is better. Do you have your best luck on a rigger or lead core?Jim
Adam Bomb
I run my plugs bare and theyre usually best for me out on the boards, but i do take fish on them on the dipseys and riggers as well.

I belive that Luhr Jensen shows a diagram of all setups mentioned on the back of there dogers and the back of there J plugs. I have this diagram somewhere in my boat. I will see if I can find it and take a pic and post it to share.

Paulywood
Same as above. I run them on core, riggers and divers. During daylight hours a chrome/redhead J on an SWR has been a killer for me over the years.
