  1. We went 4 for 6. 20lb and 8lb king. 8 lb laker and 7lb steelie. At 830 in 42fow got 20lb king on 3 colors on CJohn’s Gold Or Crush. In 46fow on dipsey on 3 out 80’ got other king on CJohn’s Skinny Minnie. Dropped same dipsey down later to 155’ and got the laker on same SMinnie. Around 12:30 got the steelie on same 3 colors with GOC. We ran a little hot, upper 2s to 3.1SOG. We heard kings in St Joe liked that speed. Two we lost were on SB rigger with tin can dodger with spin n glo one time and green fly the other. Mate had them on for a while both times and didn’t stay. Depth was 40’. SW wind 5-10, waves about a foot. Surface temp in 42 was 48; around 60’ was 46. On 20lb king, crazy story was backer line on 3 colors broke and we had to make very slow 180 with other 7 lines out to try and get the board back. We finally netted the board with fish still on. We used inline board to wind up the lead core while I had lined the fish in. Almost lost him in the motor n the other rigger. Fun, fun, fun. Definitely team TRW effort. Nice day on the lake.
  2. All fish in 77fow. Dink coho on 3 color on Capt John GOC reg spoon. Dink coho on Gold 3.5 Mag lip. 10lb, 32” laker on Crazy B flasher with mirage fly on Port rigger down 75’. Cool but nice day on the lake, 0-1s.

  4. Good job. Hope one of those fish were caught by someone else. Limit is 5 in any combo. Happy Easter!
  5. Thanks for coming Tarrey. Enjoyed having you onboard. Looks like after we pulled lines by the piers they started hitting south where we fished in the morning. Oh well you never know. Got to put in your time. We’ll get ‘em next week. Happy Easter!
  6. Got the skunk out about 1pm with just one coho just north of the pier in 36fow on J11 jointed Rapala 55' back on outside board. Trolled down to Palisades and back from 10-30'. Very slow. One other boat got 1, another had 2. Dozen or so boats put. Nice calm day on Lac Mich. Met new 2nd mate Tarrey from Paw Paw. Great guy. Thanks for joining us today.

  14. They are getting some coho and browns on both piers on pier and river sides. About 10 fisherman caught 7 or 8 coho and 3 or 4 browns: Pole Dancer charter went deep to NW. Docks are not in at city launch and fish cleaning is still closed. Six trailers at launch. Need a dock for my bigger boat!
  15. Do they hold magnum spoons without interfering with other spoons in same row and other rows? thks Dan Agnello Jackson, Mi
  16. Not sure how much those big fish weighed; probably mid to upper 20s. On solar eclipse day we caught nice 22lb king in Frankfort. Biggest king on my Grady White in past 6 years. Ended up 4 for 5 that morning. In my old 12’ boat, my biggest fish was in early 80s, a 30lb king in Manistee Lake near the Stonach launch by the Little Manistee River.
  17. Thanks, I will experiment with same baits on mono vs fluori leaders n see if it makes any difference!
