  1. all i can say is , what a nice oct day to spend on the lake and heres the report , rdfishin and myself met plumcrazy at the launch around 7:30 this morning and set up in 95 fow with the normal fall set up of 2 riggers, 2 divers and 5 cores in varying colers and went on a n.w. troll with a lot of bait and marks on the sceen from 60 to the bottom we only took 2 fish in that area before we started out deeper to find some feeders we herd another member on the radio putting a serious smack down on them so we set a troll to get to the same area in general , once we fit 175 fow thing started to happen but still not fast and furious till the only other boat in the area told us to speed up to 3.5 to 3.9 on the gps on this n.w troll and 4.0 to 4.5 on a s.e troll and raise every thing up to spead spread ,and wa la , steelhead where hitting emidiatly we ended to day 9 for about 17 or 18 , with 4 kings and 5 steelhead set ups that worked where craigs x-mas stingray as a free slider above a green fire ball nitro this was hot and was 80 down on a rigger "takeing about 10 hits" org and gold brads thin fin on a high line purple clown stingray 70 down on a rigger and craigs x-mas reverse as a free slider gold org killer on a 5 coler green glow spin dr. and last supper fly out 100 on a diver on 3 as a side not the water temp was 60 to 61 in 100 and 58 to 56 in 230"on the surface" well this was probly the last trip for the dog this season so thanks to plumcrazy and rdfishing for makeing it a good one and to don for the great info this morning on thr speed"3.5 to 4.5" in think that is the fastest ive ever trolled out there

  6. nice job tony , i did the same thing with the net a few weeks ago , went to rinse it out after netting a fish ,and the buisness end floated of the end and all i had left in my hands is the handle ,with a very confused look on my face:mda:
  7. made it out this morning with plum crazy , adam, and a freind named crhis we set up in 100 fow straight out and went on a north , north west troll in 2 to 3 footers at 7:00 am and ended the morning around 10:30 with the lake blown up to 3 to 6 footers and going 3 for 5 {2 nice steelhead and 1 laker} what worked for use this morning was all moonshine spoons hi-energy on a 12 coler happy meal on a 12 coler and i was wrong we did get a laker on a white spin dr. and mt. dew fly 150 out on a wire diver as a side not we did mark a LARGE number of bait and fish in the 100 to 125 fow all 60 to 90 down but only made 5 bite, owell it was still fun as always with plumcrazy and adam on board ,thanks for comeing along guys:D

    great job and congrat on the kids kill, a good freind of mine pulled up the drive around 9:30 this morning with a nice 18 inch 8 piont in the back of the truck that his 14 year old son shot this morning for his first ever buck , im not sure ho was proder him , me , or his dad

  12. nice job jay, there seems to be a lot of tree rats down here around allegan this year also , ive shot 14 while out scouting 3 time for deer season
  13. this was a very good year on the dog, but its not over yet , becouse i normaly dont put here away till the risk of frost is nearly every nite {somewhere near the first of nov.} my average was around 10 fish per trip, with a 3 man crew most of the time ,and i will never complain about that , and no skunks in 3 years running and as said already the size seemed to be up a little
