sunday night we went SW out of GH to about 130'. Went south and angled out to 160. Got most of the way to PS. Got a real nice king on the south troll almost to PS in 160 down around 80, turned north in about 140 pulled another Nice King and a small one. But it was pretty slow, fortunately they were pretty big, smoking the two big ones now. Greeen and White Spin Doctor with a Greenish Blue fly took most of the fish for us this weekend.

80 down treated us pretty well this weekend too. Green and white spin doctors with bluish green flies netted us most of our fish.

The Shimano Talora with the roller guides is a great rod for wire.

Many of the prosecutors do not agree with the fact the DNR has very few civil infractions, and go straight to the misdemeanors. Quite often if you go in and plead not Guilty they will have you talk to a prosecutor, they may handle it with you right then and there, they can drop charges. It sounds like you should have enough evidence without getting a lawyer, you can always get a lawyer after you plead.

Doors to the cabins open and they pump em full of water. Plug in the boat, batteries disconnected means no bilge pumps.

I feel for those people whose boats were in there. We all know how bad we are chomping at the bit to get the boats out and going, to get a call that the boat is damaged or destroyed would be terrible.

I was through saugatuck/Douglas today. It looks like they are going to have issues. Drove past some condos with slips. Sand bar about 15 yards behind the docks.

Drove by south havens channel today. The ice was breaking up on the north side of the piers and flowing across the channel.

I looked at one. Have not used one. That being said, it felt great, very smooth. But it is really hard to really tell in a store how something is going to be in the field.

Went there tonight, they are upto 60% off on tackle, funny thing is I bought an item when it was 50% off, it costs the same now? They apparently raised the prices on some items, then increased the discount so it looks like a better deal, but it wasn't. Not real impressed with that practice.

For it to work you have to have faith in the DNR and their management abilities. I have my concerns that the extra Money will get to where it is supposed to, or will be used effectively and efficiently. But hey, they would save me $3!!

I think Tiara is about the most solid built boat out there. They are very hard to beat. They handle water well and fish even better. You will enjoy it.
