  1. Great job mike.ill be heading out of holland this weekend and heading youre way.from what you are saying everything was up high,where they hanging up high in the warmer water column?

Went out Sunday out of Grand Haven launch at Harbor Island,they have 1 ramp in and water, level still very low so used my 14 footer.Went South of pier running in 8-32 fow and marked a few but only caught 1-10foot 2 by 12 board that I kept and going to mount in back of my shed to hold old paint,lol,still felt good to get out.
  3. Thinking about installing a raymarine autopilot on my 19 foot trophy this year,it has a outboard 115 merc with manual steering,and am wondering if this would work ok on a smaller boat.any thoughts would be appreciated.
  4. Thanks all for input.like the idea of the larger screen, seeing as eye sight starting to poop out,must be that 50 something kicking in lol.
  5. Wondering whats a good brand fish finder that will be used mainly on the big lake.looking for something with a larger screen and easy to use.
  6. Got out last night at 6:00pm set first line. Started in 220fow and ran out to 250fow straight west.Marked fish in the 235fow at 140fow to 180fow.Had 1 fish on and lost it.Took hit on mag spoon orange and red with silver back on downrigger set at 155fow.Water temp was 46-50 degress at 145fow.Waves picked up and had to head in so only fished to 7:45 and pulled lines.Going out again tonight.
  7. I recommend running both copper and lead core also, and letting the fish tell you what they want. Keep in mind you may want to use a larger planer board with copper if using this as youre outside line.

Fished Pentwater area Saturday and Sunday mornings got on the water and set first line at 6:30 both mornings.Caught 2 kings Saturday North of pier before hydro reserve at 145fow with downriggers set at 123ft and 135ft. Caught both kings 1-8lbs and 1-12lbs using Petes Monkey Puke mag spoons and had one release on dips set at 200ft back using 11 inch white paddle and Big Wennie Bubble But fly.Sunday no releases or fish.Radio chatter up and down the coast from Ludington down was slowwwwww!!!!
  10. This is my first year using one and wouldnt fish without it.
  11. Hey great job again BUSTER we were in that hunting club tourney and took rock bottom last place,oh well someone has to loose.
