starve island area trolling spoons behind 40 jets 25-40 back 2.0 mph casters doing well there also with weapons [worm harness] also just east of portage river aprox 1 mile out we did well this weekend sure was nice not burning a lot of fuel to get em

its been a spoon bite for me around firing range cans E and D short leads 25-35 back 40 jets with bright colored spoons speed 1.8 fish are running smaller now good eater size with lots of throw backs

cleaned 6 fish sunday and found a total of 6 perch this size in them all together fishing program west end has been trolling husky jerks and reef runners just switching over to casting and trolling worm harness water temp was 51 to 58

fished mouse island reef area husky jerks 65 back perfect 10s and ripsticks 30/30 fri and sat limits all nice fish sunday should of stayed in bed all we got was a cold shower very ruff

fished the western basin sunday at k can jigging and b can trolling perfect 10s 30 out added 1 ounce another 30 to board yellow was the jig color

I have tweaked it every way possible always comes out good

just thinking what needs done on the boats this spring i need to service outboard and kicker on one and replace impeller pump and service inboard on the other

i have the same problem with my 19ft aluminum boat that i use on vaca to salmon fish.since i only have a week to get it done we fish in waves that i would not at home .i just turn and go with the waves and do the best we can. do need to try dragging some bags to reduce the boat surge like Matt said .just use regular rope tied to cleat will need one on each side to keep boat straight

the top moter part usally just clips to the base screen part to take apart for cleaning .also would add a second pump if needed .i know my old starcraft liked to leak around the ribots a little bit

buddy bought one summer before last i was impressed with the dry ride his has a 175 merc pushes it along 45mph+ i like all the open room and easy clean up

i am only a part time salmon guy and only use my reels 2-3 times a year but all my copper is on cv55 reels no level wind and they work just fine no big deal thumbing line on

we found if your tx44 board goes under for whatever reason turn to that side[ port board turn port ] will help it pop back up quiker
