  1. Saw you guys alot, nice to know another boat. Kyle I don't have any pictures and if I told you how we did with no proof I don't want to be known as a internet "pro". Here goes, from last thursday to monday am we made 5 trips and averaged 17 per trip for the group, giving a bunch to the landlords of the house we rent and a big salmon feast on sunday. 90% on fly's. 3 colors stood out. My Fav fly of LBB, crinkle mirage with dark green rubber skirt on top(yellow beads), double aqua with dark green rubber skirt(2 green,2 yellow beads) and a LBB with light green beads that we found with a live 14lb king floating on top with that fly and a blue flasher(opti tackle) in her. Best trip ever. Fished TIGHT to the edge and north. When I came back on tuesday, Reel Action Charters down the dock came in with 23 in 60 minutes, Scott also posted it on his website. Fished the same area over the weekend. Back in a week for more fishing, Chris
  2. Kyle, Had the Baha out for 5 days during that time. What does your boat look like? Fishing can't get much better in Wi then the Bank has been thats for sure. Thanks, Chris
  3. Kyle, going out monday to work on the boat and look at Top Bannana's charters new Baha. I will try to get another fishin' report. Dean from Hooked up has been on some good fishing as well. Weather has been so warm and my first trip is the last week in June, I feel that I am missing some great fishing. The disabled kids event is the 19th so I will be in Kewuanee until then. Steve, fill the cooler! Chris
  4. They are biting and it's a mixed bag. Try right up tight to the bank and if they are not there drift out to 100-200 foot. Spoons (flamethrowers)for bows and it's been a fly bite for kings. White flashers and double aqua and kermit flys have been real good. Green F/F combo also taking a few. Kings 40-100 foot down when you drift out. Charter buddy had 15 2 days ago and a 8 fish with a single pass down the bank in 1 hour, so they are there. Good Luck, Chris
  5. I have heard of some problems with the X-5, better call them. I will say I got all my raymarine stuff done by a certified Raymarine tech and if you can find one close use them but call service to be sure.
  6. Capt Russ, I have a 277 as well, could I get a pic of that enclosed spoon rack in back? Thats really nice! Thank you, Chris
  7. Eric(Spoonfed) is going to get me a price. I would hate to have to goto Cabelas. I will post more later, Chris
  8. I need a online source for deeper divers. Getting a bunch, who's got a good price. Thanks, Chris
  9. Shimano TDR's have faired well. Jr's tackle rods with hardend guides are great for steel line. Penn GTO's for rigger reels have been great, Diawa Sealines for steel and anything with a high retrieve for copper/core that fits your segments you run.
  10. Yankee troller, What knot do you use to get 45lb copper through a 57 accudepth line guide? Thanks, Chris
  11. http://terminalsupplyco.com/default.aspx I just found this, don't know if it is useful but here it is. All of my connections using only tinned wire once crimped close are also heat shrinked with a marine adhesive glue that seals as well as shrinks down. I believe its called adhesive lined shrink tube, connecters, etc. As far as interfacing, my Raymarine electronics are all High speed seatalk but if they are different brands I believe you can use NMEA wires to connect. It is going to take some calls to tech support on your different units to see what you can do. Chris
  12. I am looking at a defroster, I will be in touch if I solve the problem. Chris

  13. I have heard of that as well. For the last year and a half I put a note on the dash to check it before I motor up. The plate is made of 1/4 stainless so bending it would be hard, I would probibly damage something. The guys at Accurate Marine says I would probibly stress crack the transom if I put it down at speed by mistake!
  14. John, Glad you posted. I was wondering how it turned out for you after we talked. As long as you have a nice backer plate all should be good. Thanks everyone for the nice words. I have a list of suppliers and advice if anybody ever wants to do one. P.M. anytime, Chris
  15. Nice boat, I looked it up as well, laughed my a$$ off.
  16. Put me down for 4 wires on my rig, I even run my 10' wire LOC40-50 feet for bows with a glowberry. I love wire rigs.
  17. Thanks I will, I am at Quarterdeck marina.

Thanks,I got her in 2008, band new. I did some custom fiberglass work to her and would like to add some custom tackle storage. There isn't alot on the boat for tackle boxes.
  19. I just bought a Panasonic FH-20. I have to admit I don't know anything about digital cameras. I just had 180.00$ as my cap and looked up something with good reviews and am winging it. I guess its alittle late but is this a good camera? Thanks in advance, Chris.
  20. What kind of camera do you have and reccomend? Chris
  21. She is a 2008. I got the 6.2 IB in her. I did a Raymarine C120/radar/Gps combo, a 600X with a through hull, and auto-pilot.

I am alittle new to posting pictures when I took it and sized it down to make an Avatar pic and Photobucket won't let me bring it back to size with good quality. I then erased the photo. I am taking new photo's this spring with a set of LED netting lights off the back from Taco, and 2 sets on the hardtop from Coastal lights. One foreward and one back. Also some new fiberglass work to make some custom storage. Chris
  23. It handles great. As you turn your rudder it shoots water around the plate giving great handling in turns. Surpluscenter.com has all the cylinder and hydraulic parts you could ever want. If anyone has any questions please ask. Doing it yourself saves a ton of cash. Chris
