  1. Headed to the boat, got reports that the pierheads are loaded! I guess work will have to wait a few more days!
  2. We run the church boards, and can run 8 a side. we use mono and braid. we double wrap the line on the front clip so they dont slip or release with a fish.
  3. I forgot that Craigs X-mas reverse on a 2 color would not stay in the water! I destroyed it! Im heading over wed. night to change the distributor in the boat and fishing thu, fri and sat! I will post more this weekend!
  4. Good job. thats been pretty good fishing in that area. We are going to stick it out till mid october, hopefully this wind will bring them in a little closer!
  5. We started in 150 fow and went out to 350. Went 13 for 16, with 6 kings around 6 to 8 lbs and 7 steelhead, average around 8 lbs. Hottest bait was candy korn stinger on the 3 color, white paddle with a hypnotist fly on the rigger at 115 down. Took 2 steelies on watermellon on 2 color. Good day left the dock at 4pm and was back in by 9,

  7. We run all Lowrance, and im happy with it. I bought a 111 hd a few years ago, and will be upgrading this winter
  8. We are heading to Muskegon this weekend, to leave the boat at Point Marina for the rest of the season. Cant wait to beat up on the steelhead and the young kings till the ice chases us out!
  9. We fished the 333 tourny there this weekend. The fish were scattered, with only 8 boats out of 102 catching 10. We found temp to the north, and caught some fish. Hope it straightens out for you. 130 fow was our best
  10. I am a builder,we have stayed consistant with the economy, but we have been in buisness since 92. Lately I have been swamped with remodels and other things. We switched gears and went to remodels, also outside contractor for the U of M. Just started doing work for Pilot gas stations also. Gotta have alot of irons in the fire these days!

  12. yes its off washington st. like adam says go past abrahamsons marina, over the bridge and take your first right. We launch there with no problem

  14. I have to go with nailer on this one too! I would have boat problems or something!
  15. I fished there all week and it was some tough fishing, but we did end up with 4 fish over 20lbs on thursday. We ran offshore and found a slick and beat up on the steelhead for awhile, with one tipping the scales at 12 lbs.
  16. If you have them come loose then you can double wrap the line around the clamp in the front. Just make sure everyone on the boat knows what way it was wrapped.
  17. Thats one of the reasons i quit going to the Benton Harbor launch and started going to Muskegon. I guess its time to booby trap our pickups! Wouldnt that be fun:diablo:

  20. Good job Ed, I have 2 more trips to Erie then all the mudpuddle gear gets stowed away for the winter! Off to Muskegon for the pro/am next week then going to Manistee for 10 days. Cant wait till blue water! I will give you a call when i get to Ludington.
  21. I had a X-85 that would do that, and it was the power source in the cannon plug in the back of the unit had corrosion. I used a torch cleaner to scrape it out and it worked fine. give it a try, cheaper than a new unit! Another thing was i had it hooked direct to the battery, so i put die electric grease on it after i cleaned it and it solved the problem
  22. I have 17 bigfoot decoys left, and 50 ghg and G&h mallards left, i charged the batteries for robo duck and it works good, it also has a remote control. I can email pictures to you if interested thanks Eric
