  1. Past hour
  2. sometimes the pod of fish your on just won’t bite and it makes for a great boat ride…. and it’s way better than working. thanks for the report
  3. I was in 70-90 fow. Also right around 9:30 LiveScope started marking schools and schools of bait fish.
  4. what depth did most of your bites come in JDH? PUG was out too last night and sadly struggled in a way that snapped our five trip 25+ bite on average streak - still was a great night though to be out there watching sunset! we went 6 for 12 trolling that 85-105fow mainly (similar program to prior trips and what you described you encountered) they just didn't bite whatsoever after dark which as a surprise and then a relief to not have to be up til 1am cleaning fish FishNFever updated us at the end of the night and it looked like RodBoss and RealProperty and some of them steelheaders actually did decent so hats off to them and I wonder what kinda water they were fishing in
  5. Today
  6. It really hurts when you can see them but not draw interest. DR down 20' was a great move!
  7. Great job! Thanks for the report!
  8. Fish continue to be holding on the inside taking the high baits. Glad you had fun and thanks for the report.
  9. Ran generally the same program as the other night. Couldn't get the fish to bite. Had them on Livescope swimming at/after baits, but they wouldn't hit. Tried S/SE/SW/E/W/N/NW,NE trolling directions... Speeds between 2 and 3 mph at the ball. Eventually had a hit almost at 9 pm. Then another at 9:30. Another at 10 pm. And the fourth, which stuck hit at 10:25 pm. All fish felt nice sized and the one we got was maybe 12 lbs. Meat rig on a mag diver back 90 took two hits, 250 copper with mag moonshine jackal took one hit, and our last hit came on the downrigger down 20 feet with a mag moonshine double trouble. Might try again tomorrow night.
  10. Fished a lot better tonight. 10 for 13. 18lb 2×12lb and the rest 7-8lbers. Tried 100-110fow at first south troll. Not much happening. 7pm hit a pod of fish and had a triple and landed 2. 8-9:30pm was pretty fun with something happening most of the time. What worked... Happy meal 3× on 275 copper Blue Flounder pounder on high dipsey and rigger Flasher fly early worked white paddle dragon slayer twice on high dipsey back 120 setting 3. Did not land either Other high dipsey out 160 setting 3 uv salmon candy green paddle with Docs custom tackle green glow fly. Great hit did not land it. Riggers with sliders did damage. One set at 50 the other set at 60 took multiple fish both fixed and slider. Green flounder pounder rv. Bad Toad rv. Bloody knuckles spoon 300 copper with happy meal and dancing anchovy took fish. Speed was the key. 2.7-3.1 at the ball. Depending on direction of troll we were 2.6-3.4 sog. Best depth was 78-90fow. On south seast troll. North troll was easier but did not produce much action. 13. exciting outing. nice job dialing them in and thanks for the report
  14. thanks for the report. it is a rare day When i’m not running a blue Dolphin somewhere in the spread.
  15. Got a late start Saturday morning, but set-up in 85 FOW at 8:30 am and initially trolled north. Turned south after 1 hour, and in 110 FOW, 300 ft of copper with orange/blue ladderback went off, but lost it. 30 min later at 120 FOW another 300 ft copper with magnum blue dolphin screamed and we were able to bring in a nice 12 lb king. Beautiful morning on the water (except the flies after winds shifter from NE to East).

  20. Went 7/8 Set lines a 7:30 pm in 67 fow sse troll ms green jeans standard size uv tape I belive? got hit while I was holding the rod in my hand setting the rigger down 37 feet down 30out no other lines in the water yet, very exciting ! I set the other downrigger down 45 out 30 added a new release so when that one fired right away I thought I needed to tighten the clasp , Nope ! Another nice medium sized king ! On MS dancing anchovies After we land those two fish I reset down riggers let out a 10 color half bloody nose mag ,plane that to the side then set dipseys large white paddle out 125 on mag diver usually a setup that produces for me , not lastnight . Other side I had a yeck mag spoon blue and white from 8 pm to 9:45 pm nothing went out to 90fow headed back in (beside a shaker on the 10 color lord knows how long we weee dragging ) once the sun set we hit that 67 fow area graph lit up and it started popping Off 4 more solid kings down riggers lost one on a dipsey I pulled up dancing anchovies for a green white glow mag set it down that got two more fish and the green jeans produced the next two then headed in at 10:30 pm SE troll 2.7-3.1 sog was good and East troll 67fow-58 fow is where we caught all of them down riggers set 40 down and 45-55 depending on marks . green spoons with glow standard and mag seemed to work best for us downriggers were on fire all great fighting fish they did not want to get in the boat , several strong runs ! It was an excellent night

  24. Always best to be safe. You caught a couple and the dinner will be great. The fishing is only going to get better from now to late September. Keep after it.
  25. Last week
  26. The blow did come up quickly and was not forecasted. Glad you made it in safely.
  27. We had lines in at about 5 and got blown off the lake around 8. We must've missed something based on recent reports because we started at 70 and couldn't buy a mark or a hit. We eventually migrated out to 95 ft with no luck then went back to 70. On the way back in we took a hit on a 5 color lead that shook off. Back at 70 we got stuck inside a line of boats so we spent some time in there and picked off an 8 lb king on a downrigger 55 down. After awhile we found a gap and went back out and took a 7 lb coho on a 200 copper and missed a hit on the same downrigger as soon as we got the coho in. Shortly after that the wall wind hit. Maybe we jumped the gun but we didn't like how fast it went from glass to white caps, and our 18 foot open bow doesn't handle waves well so we bailed. It definitely felt like a whiffed outing considering the fact we were off the lake at 8 with only two fish. Here's what took the hits: 1 - salmon candy UV fruit pebbles standard spoon on 5 color lead 1 - moonshine lucky flounder standard spoon on 200 copper 2 - warrior psycho perch standard spoon on a downrigger 55 down Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  28. congrats on landing a triple solo ! ( and didn’t lose a lure ) that’s awesome ! well done and thanks for the report.
