2MD Posted July 14 Posted July 14 lots of cross current especially starting out, which made getting everything in and keeping it all from tangling an ongoing challenge tonight 6 for 11 78-90 fow 50-70 down mainly meat but some fly and spoon and even a glow jplug brought in the last one at around 10.20pm beautiful night on the water! 6
zgrinder on Fin Warrior Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Good work getting the bite going once again. Talked to one boat coming in just after sunset in Charlevoix and they were skunked. Some good size gobies were being caught from the pier head in the channel. 1
ceboet Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Very nice! And yeah, what a beautiful night! We were outside of you in 100 < 110 and went 10 for 11. The 400 went 2x but that was it for the high-lines. The hot rod was a white paddle with yellow fly down 70. But wire divers back 150 and 170 dragging meat also took a beating. South troll seemed to be our ticket. We turned north for 45 minutes and nothing. Then turned west and picked one up on the turn and another once headed south again. 3
Dennis hageman Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Nice job have you had any luck with those fish inside of 100ft earlier than the last couple hours or do they munch that last hour. I fished thrs night up there and we went 2 for 5 in like 130 to 150 and planned on sliding in but the radar scared me off lake.
