  1. For sure! Can't wait to get them on the smoker.
  2. Holland report from this morning. Ended up going 9 for 9 with a really nice mixed bag of silver fish and a lake trout. Kept 6 quality fish and released 3 smaller ones. Started in 90 FOW and picked up an early fish in 95 FOW before eventually working out to around 180 FOW. Most productive water seemed to be 130–150 with fish scattered throughout the water column. Biggest takeaway today was the fish wanted SPEED. Best action came trolling east around 2.8–3.0 SOG. Tried slowing down and running meat for a while but spoons were definitely the better bite for us today. Best rods: - 225 copper was the MVP by far taking multiple fish - 3 color stayed hot all morning - 175 copper took fish - 150 copper also contributed No hits on the diver or downrigger for us today. Best spoons today: - Moonshine Soda - Moonshine Bad Toad - Orange/Black Silver Streak on the 3 color Coppers from 175–225 and the 3 color were key.
  3. Congrats on a successful night!
  4. Wow! Congrats on such a successful trip. Thanks for the detailed report.
  5. We were out this morning as well and put 1 in the box. Freeslider on the downrigger down 70 in 85 fow. Marked some other fish but no takers. Used copper, leadcore, meat rigs, flasher / flies, and spoons. You're right it was a beautiful morning and the fishing was definitely slow.
  6. Great job fellas! Thanks for the detailed report!
  7. Nice work solo and in the dark to boot! Thanks for the great report. Going to give it a shot out of Holland tomorrow morning. Sounds like early is ticket.
  8. Congrats on having a successful morning on a tough bite! We were one of the many boats out there this morning (and afternoon) but we didn't have any luck. Tried as shallow as 70 fow up to 250. Marked fish but couldn't get any to bite.
  9. Thanks for the report! Might try out that skinny water in the AM.
  10. Congrats on a successful first trip out! Thanks for the great report!
  11. Nice Job! Thanks for the detailed report!
  12. Nice! I'm going to try and head out of Holland sometime this weekend. Last weekend we found 3 kings up near Port sheldon in 150 - 160ft of water. 300 and 150 copper were the ticket.
