FBD
Thanks for the update. Be careful on the slime around those docks - member at another site I regular took a spill last fall and it ended up becoming fatal.
Engfishman87
I don't know if it is true or not but on Michigan Sportsman Forum they were saying that the sand at the end of the Port Sheldon piers is so shallow that some larger boats may have trouble getting out? Anyone know how shallow it is?
FBD
Never seen it less than 7’ deep through there but the lake can move a lot of sand in a hurry.
Wes34
Some property owners said that Consumers Energy has applied for an emergency dredging permit and are waiting for approval. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman
FBD
So when they close the plant can we plan on the channel filling up?
Wes34
One guy waned to tell me about how his grandfather and other residents used to dig a path from the sand to flush out the river mouth before the piers were put in. FBD
I recall stories of when the bubbler wasn’t there and you waded as close as you dared to the drop off where the hot water was pumped across the beach.
